Who was the QB during the Bush years? ? He threw the rock pretty good but GP had some of the worst records during that time??? Not his fault but the offense was different. Travis Bush was the qb for 4 of those years... They had dang good teams... He's an even better coach though. Under Bruce Bush, at least in 1992 I believe the quarterback was Brett Mitchell. Mitchell had a 91 yd TD pass to a kid named Jason Zipprian against A&M Consolidated in the semi-finals that year I believe.

That 91 yard pass was to soph Ben James. That semi final game was a close one. The regional finalvgamevwas in buc stadium against Austin Westlake. First south Texas team to beat West lake was GP in that game. That 92 team was loaded with talent.

Sinton, Calhoun, & Calallen all scored 40+ points on T-M. G-P's offense is better than Sinton's & Calallen's. G-P will put at least 40 on the board vs T-M. The only way T-M can win is outscoring G-P. That won't happen! G-P wins by 20+!

I think Scott Jurica (spelling) ran one in too.

PLC-47 vs TM-21 PLC-42 vs VW-21 PLC-46 vs GP-15 Other scores of interest TM-49 vs VE-20 GP-35 vs VE-20 I was surprised by TM in the PLC game in the first half. By the numbers it appears to be very close.

TM had a bye week last week. They had two weeks to practice for G-P. Plus this is TM's Homecomming. I expect TM will be a close game and this game scares me.
