TM had a bye week last week. They had two weeks to practice for G-P. Plus this is TM's Homecomming. I expect TM will be a close game and this game scares me. I have GP favored in a close one but turnovers, penalties will be critical. I picked GP too but after looking at these scores it's not too impossible. Oh and King that must have been an ON week for Calallen's offense. Does that count?

Notice you forgot the T-M Calallen game. That the TM Offense scored more than the GP Offense versus Calallen? Not true Varmint. T-M & G-P offenses both scored 7 points vs Calallen. One of T-M's TDs was on special teams(kick return). Offenses for both teams will move the ball. Key is which defense makes more stops. I believe T-M's defense won't be able to stop Bisby & Co. I believe our defense can contain T-M. Other key is turnovers & penalties. Last week vs C5, we had 3 costly turnovers and 3 costly penalties that erased 2 more TDs we should have scored. We keep both of those areas down, we should win. Should be an exciting ballgame!

Having two weeks to prepare is definitely a plus for T-M. They run the slot T well and Boone has great timing when calling the play action pass from it. I may want the OVER in this game.

Not true. They still can get in by beating West & Beeville. It's not do or die yet. Same with us. Not do or die time yet...

If you haven't seen them play you will be surprised. They can grind it out. When PLC scored they didn't act like the TM of old. They went about their business. They never quit. PLC just worn them out.

Did anyone see the film of GP vs Calallen when the Calallen Kick returner fell on the ball and then picked it up and ran with it. Did the ref miss the call? Was he down?

It's not the calls they missed, but the 2 calls they made from the same ref on Calallen's sideline with about 1:00 left in the game! Just Brutal!

If TM tries to play 6 in the box on defense like they were last night against the F & JV, then Bisby will go for 200+ and multiple TDs and GP will outscore TM pretty easily. Based on what GP has done this year, that is opposite of what I'd try to do. I'd stack the box and make GP win by throwing the ball.

Why would anyone put 6 in the box against Bisby other than Flour Bluff in the scrimmage? The D T-M will run is no secret....go watch the PLC vs. T-M game and there it is...

Isn't it funny that he doesn't throw a flag the entire game until about 1:00 left in the game. Then when we score to take the lead, he throws the flag. Then we overcome that penalty, he throws another flag when Bisby gets inside the 10-yard line giving us a 1st & goal with :45 seconds left forcing us to try a 45-yard FG. Damn Ref! The one on Calallen's sideline! He made sure we weren't going to win that game.
