Why was Brandon wearing #21 tonight? Did they have to cut his jersey off in the ER when he hurt his arm?

Don't know, I'll ask the boys when they get home. T-M came out of the gates on fire. Held us to a 3 & out, and then went straight down the field and scored to go up 7-0. After that, Bisby & Co. took over and the defense stepped it up a notch as we scored the next 39 points of the game to go up 39-7 at the end of the 3rd quarter. T-M had a couple of late scores to keep it respectable. I was really impressed with their team. They are leaps & bounds ahead of where they were the last 2 years. Coach Boone is doing a great job. If they can beat West next week, then they can make the playoffs. Good luck next week Warriors! I'll be cheering for y'all! That is, the Tuloso-Midway Warriors...

Just spoke with the boys. Brandon's white #10 jersey was cut up when he went to the ER after the Rockport game. That's why he was wearing #21 tonight. He'll have a white #10 jersey come playoff time.

I did pick GP to win this one but I also told you this was a new look TM team. Good win good luck in two weeks.

I thought TM might be able to pass on GP but not after seeing the wind blowing.

Yes, the field runs North & South. All the points in the game, except 1 TD, came from the team with the wind at their backs. T-M scored all their points in the 1st & 4th quarters, and we scored 32 out of 39 points in the 2nd & 3rd quarters. T-M only attempted 1 pass into the wind and it hit our CB right in the numbers and he dropped it for a for-sure pick 6. The wind played a very big factor, as only one drive into the wind resulted in points.
