And the occasional cold beverage! I can still catch a few of those. Those don't move as fast! I don't know, every time I tip it the liquid runs out pretty fast.

San Antonio Wagner 42 Victoria East 28
Titans drop to 1-3 in district and have yet to play Smithson Valley or Pieper yet. They could still get a win vs Champion, but even that will be a challenge.
Wagner is 2-2, but has already played the Comal ISD schools.

Chasing down livestock among other things… that ship has sailed long time ago for most of us. LOL 😂 The only thing we can chase down now are toddlers! My two Grands are 6 and 4, The next time they come over here if I need to catch them, I'll borrow Clems rope! fyi I have an extra hotshot if you need it as well

Yeah - I don't envy NB with Pieper, SV, Seguin in a rivalry game and Wagner to close out the season. NB could build a ton of momentum if they can win either of the next two weeks! Next weeks Wagner vs Seguin game is quite the contrast in styles and will be interesting to see. That is a sneaky tough matchup - probably comes down to who makes the least mistakes. Right now, only Pieper is a lock, SV is in with a win tonight, NB is a lock with a win tonight, everyone else is scrambling! If things break right, even BC isn't completely out of it - tie breakers could be in play!

Just as I expected, the NB - Champion game ended up being supper critical and I’m glad the Unicorns pulled that one out last week. The Guadalupe River Bowl will be the biggest one in years. NB is huge underdogs against Pieper and SV. IF they can somehow steal a win in the next two weeks then they would really help themselves. The Unicorns will be propelled by adrenaline for the next month. It’s a very tough stretch. But if your team is one that peaks as the season goes along, then that’s a good thing. We don’t know what type of a coach Brad Molder will be at NB. Everything is new again right now.

Barn burner over at Pieper - NB and Pieper tied at 21 at halftime. I'll be watching that in replay when I get home from SV and Seguin.

NB defense played their hearts out in the first half. A key drop on a deep ball prevented NB from going into the half with a 15 point lead. A bad punt put Pieper in position to score the tying TD at the close of the half. Should have been 28 -13, wound up tied at 21.

But even if that would’ve happened, I’m not sure the Unicorns would’ve won that game. Pieper was really on point in the second half, and their ability to stuff the NB run game made the Unicorns rely on their shaky passing game (at times). The 49-35 score reflected what I expected out of the game, but Pieper is probably better the score leads us to believe. Pieper should finish the regular season undefeated. Unicorns will probably drop a game to SV also, leading to some do or die games vs Seguin and then Wagner.

That Pieper coaching staff does a really good job at the halftime of games from what I've seen in the games I've watched of theirs. Heading out to go pick apples with my daughter, niece, and great nephew this morning. It's 40 and chili out. Maybe I'll find some apple cider while they go pick some!!! lmao

It’s a new high school in far north San Antonio that broke off from Smithson Valley. This is the third time their feeder patterns have been disrupted, as they are a high growth area and had also broken off San Antonio Davenport (4A) and Canyon Lake (4A) in the last 15 years.
