I could be wrong… I’ve been wrong many times before! LOL And I hope Vic East surprises me and shocks the region in Round 2… The Titans are the team I’m hoping wins. But my mind says that PSJAN is just too much. They’re actually currently a 6A school with the number they turned in if I’m not mistaken. Tall task for VE for sure, but c'mon man they took down THE MIGHTY CC VETS! Lol..... All bs aside, North is the favorite for a reason, I'm just excited to see how these young Titans handle themselves this Friday! That’s what worries me for y’all. Vets defense is a far cry from the normal standard this season… and y’all only scored 14. The North defense is much much better.

Will the game be streamed anywhere? I’m guessing for sure yes. They have college quality streams for RGV games. Multiple camera angles, replay after big plays, zoomed in, slow motion, excellent commentary. It’s top notch stuff.

Does MP tell you when those yards came in teh game? Was VE out front when a lot of them happened against backups?? I mean come on man, they beat moody 49-0 it isn't like it was a tight game. lmao VE also beat CCVM, didn't they and held them to 10 points? But yet here you are talking about North like they are the Georgia Bulldogs. smdh That CC Vets game was eh. 3 td's by Vets were erased by penalties and it came right after a tough loss to Miller. Plus the #1 player on the team went down to injury during the game. All of that contributed to the anomalous offensive output by Vets. But hang your hat on that if you want to. It did happen, 14-10. Yes, it did happen. Keep telling yourself that and maybe you'll stop making excuses for every single loss CCVM has ever had and gain some credibility here. 3 tds erased by penalty? So what! That just tells me that your team was getting beat and had to resort to penalties to get it done. Bet they were likely all holding calls to! The Miller loss should have ignited a fire under CCVM and that excuse you also made here is more BS. If it didn't, they need to do a gut check!

And you gauge all of this on the powerhouse programs North has played this season, right? The truth is you nor anybody else really knows how good or not North really is. You cannot judge that when they play against very, very average teams. Nobody is saying VE is the favorite in this game at all but yet you keep plugging in your constant comments on how North is such a beast. If North is as good as you've been saying then NOBODY in R4 should even get within 21 points of them.

What you seem to be forgetting is that this PSJA North team is almost the exact same team from last season. They brought back like 21 of 22 starters. They beat Miller like a drum last season. They played a pretty decent Vets team very close last season, too. And they're a year stronger/bigger/faster/etc. What I saw on that field against Vets last year will beat this year's Vets, badly. It'll beat Vic East without batting an eye, and it should be able to handle Miller, too. The thing with Miller is that they're much better this year than last. So they've got a shot (including taking into account the bad weather for the Miller/North game last season). But my money is still on PSJAN. This game will happen this week no matter what we say about it. It'll be handled on the field of play. One of us will be right about it, and one of us won't.

You know I have more respect for the dude from shary than I do these other Valley jokers....
He used to say the same crap and talk about Shary like they were filled with 50 D1 guys going to run the table, and every year they'd hit the Coastal Bend and 9 out of 10 times lose. He'd take his lumps and learn. He finally started seeing what outside of the Valley looked like though and comparing. Now he still hypes his team but is realistic. No shame in that at all.
Same thing with the Southside dude. I respect him a lot too. He used to do the same thing, but got humbled, and now is realistic about his team but still is hype for them and wants them to win. Again no shame in that.
Some of these other guys need to learn that competition matters and you can look like a bad and playing cupcakes all day long, but until you play legit teams, you don't actually know what real competition is. Region 4 is full of average teams and very few big fish. So there is not any competition to be had with the exception of maybe 4 or 5 teams total. Miller, VE, Vets in the past, PSJAN, VW, Vela in the past... I guarantee if district 12 was in region 4 we would not be having any of these discussions the last 2 years.

As a quick note from a RGV fan PSJA North line on both sides of the ball are way bigger than they were last year (bigger and stronger) some question how so many put on that much extra size lets say greatt off season conditioning. They are not technical in their rush just bull rush and push you around. They scrimmaged San Benito preseason and looked good. not a lot of competition here and no one wants to travel here as they have good competition up North. So the test really comes in 2nd round of playoffs for RGV. Harlingen has been able to travel but most other RGV football teams are not that lucky

Will the game be streamed anywhere? PSJA ISD games are usually on YouTube ,but since the PSJA Bears are also playing this Friday at home against SA Brennan, not sure if they do road game as well.

For anyone that thinks the Raiders are a one dimensional run team, you would be wrong.Yes ,they are run heavy with over 3700 yds rushing, but ,they have also passed for over 1700 yds.The Alice Coyotes,a spread offense team have 1800 yds passing .Coach Kaufmann made it a point of emphasis to improve that phase. And defensively, they have 7 shutouts in 11 games, should have had 9 out of 11,but Memorial scored in the final seconds & Donna returned the opening kickoff last week for a TD,the 1st & only time the Raiders have trailed all year. But,of course, they haven’t played anybody, and their #7 state ranking, and all their stats should come with an asterisk. We shall soon see.

Many times if the ISD does not broadcaste Rio Sports Live broadcasts it if there are enough sponsers so that might happen unless the broadcasters with UIL connection wants to show it then you will have to pay to view

I'm a believer my man. I've been on the PSJAN train ever since the end of last season. This train ain't stopping... first "real" test will be Miller in Round 4. But y'all have faced them and beat them without issue before... there's no fear going into that game. Next week might have a bit of fear if CC Vets makes it thru this round... but no worries. Although Vets will always come to play hard, and give it their best (players and coaches)... this year is not the best CC Vets team there's been. Running game is lacking and run defense is lacking... The Eagles will just be a speed bump in the road this season. Don't take them lightly though, champions never go down easy. You're going to have to take that win away, it won't be given to you. As for this week. Run, Run, Run the ball. Piss on pass. You don't need it. Play sound defense, and collect the W.
