GP is gonna suck this season so I'm not worried about it. Good then I can post @ 10 pm sept 6th how bad we sucked lol Think about how bad you guys would be without Bisby breaking a million tackles. And before you say "but we do have Bisby", to that I say "but he's suppose to be attending Miller". You guys chose the wrong coach. Surely GP had better applicants than a guy with no experience. That's why your sub varsity teams arent much and your varsity relies on one monster back.

PLC parking, fans sitting on visiting side just to harass the visitors. Alice seats are like lava and they too sit fans on visitors side and restrooms are rediculous, never have congestion stand stocked on visitor. GP needs a lot of revamping, now getting new track and big multi use building. Calallen wasted money. Never fill up stadium even on big games. Parking sux, always wet cars getting stuck and rude fans . King I sit on Calhouns visitors side because it is the only place I can find a seat and I do not harass fans unless I am called out than they better man up.. I remember last years game A GP fan sat next to the dividing tape between Calhoun and GP and stood on the bleacher hopping around talking smack before kickoff after calhoun got the ball an scored on thier second play he sat down then GP blocked the extra point and scored two points he stood up on the bleacher hopping around like a rabbit again talking smack untill calhoun got the ball back and he never stood up again all teams are going to have fans that talk smack not everone is like that I sit with my Vicoria buddys during games and we jab each other all in fun when our teams play. I do wish Calhoun had a bigger stadium it does get crowded trying to find seats........

I see a lot of bad comments on Beeville's stadium, which surprises me. New Braunfels traveled out to Beeville in 2006 and I don't remember anything particularly bad about the stadium. The parking seemed a bit small but I don't recall it being an issue. The visitors side wasn't the largest I had seen, but it was still more than adequate for the amount of NB fans that traveled out to see the Unicorns play the Trojans. The home side I remember being small, but that is a non issue, since home teams are (usually) good about gauging the side of their home bleachers. I guess the visitors stands might be an issue if Coastal Bend teams bring out huge crowds.
But then again, this was in 2006. I haven't been there recently. I guess what I am trying to say is that I am ok with Beeville's stadium.

If the stadium is a more traditional one with a sizable standing area outside the bleachers, you can usually get away with a smaller home side.

The only places that stick out with fans that have told us stuff is Edcouch in Edcouch.. But still second to what we experienced in Robstown, years back... Now they started to throw things when we were driving away... yeah!!!! And they were adult woman and a couple of young punks!!!!! Honest Truth!.. Getting back on track, GP was a pretty bad stadium but I heard they fixed it up.. Calallen visitor side is terrible. But Beeville's visitor side is the worst. Best ones Hero's, Judson has a nice stadium, most SA stadiums are nice, Weslaco, Laredo (both), Brownsville.. just some nice ones around here... That old Robstown stadium was the worst by far. It was right in the middle of a residential area and it was like running the gauntlet every time the buses were leaving. m87 back on the board!

Even Van Tom said If Kingsville ever got their shiat together, they would be a top team every year in Texas.. That was back in the day when Whitiker was there before Heney or Haney or whoever replaced him. It seemed they always focused on basketball.. Idk... Scot Hafley who is now at my old school and still stinks. Remember Eppy hated the guy when he was at Kville. I soon found out why. That was the guy FB fan.. Yeah if I remember he was a young guy by coaching standards in this area.. Rather green I heard..

Their field lighting was ridiculous up to about 3 years ago, but other than that a pleasant place to watch a high school game.

I agree, I had a hunch that when Soza was there, he intentionally had the lights dimmed. I remember trying to keep up with the ball when Bee was on Offense....the Slot-T is hard enough to kep up with it....wear brown uniforms, turn down the lights and play hide and seek.... The stadium was not bad, just hated playing in the dark. Did they fix the lights? I hope so, we play there this year.

If I remember right, 2 years ago they played some home games away from Beeville while they were upgrading their lights at the request of UIL.
I may be wrong on this, but it's what my old noggin is telling me.
