Bay City Memorial comes to mind. It only holds 6000, dimly lit, no visitor parking except on the street, the grass usually looks lousy, and no drainage. I doubt they'll ever get turf. When Chad Morris was the coach there, he once had a helicopter come out and hover over the field on game day after a rain to try to get rid of the water standing on the field. I still remember Pearland's stadium too before they got "The Rig". It was called Pressner and you had to park on the grass and then wade through the mud to get into the stadium if it had rained. They had wood bleachers and as you walked to your seat you would get a sinking feeling as the foot boards would flex. You could hardly hear the speaker and sometimes they woudn't mow the grass and band members would complain about having to march on it. You just reminded me of the parking at Weslaco. You have to park at the school and walk accross a practice field if you are on the visitors side. If it's muddy it's really bad. Also there is no lighting for that walk. I would complain about the parking at Alice and PLC if there was any at either place but there is none. Both need to fix that.

Sandcrab Stadium has plenty of parking... across the street in the HEB Parking Lot. You can have fun by doing a live version of Frogger as you try to cross TX Hwy 35 to get to the stadium.

Best thing to do at an Alice game if you are a visitor, is get there at least by 6pm and park on the Alice side. WE DO NOT TOW NON WILDCAT FANS>>> OOPPSS I MEAN NON COYOTE FANS>. Then go thru the NW gate of the stadium... Feel free to use our 4 star bathrooms on the home side as well.

I guess I will just have to stop hitting Chilis and join your tail gate before games there. Can't get any worse looks than I have had just walking to the car on the home side wearing FB colors.

The only places that stick out with fans that have told us stuff is Edcouch in Edcouch.. But still second to what we experienced in Robstown, years back... Now they started to throw things when we were driving away... yeah!!!! And they were adult woman and a couple of young punks!!!!! Honest Truth!.. Getting back on track, GP was a pretty bad stadium but I heard they fixed it up.. Calallen visitor side is terrible. But Beeville's visitor side is the worst. Best ones Hero's, Judson has a nice stadium, most SA stadiums are nice, Weslaco, Laredo (both), Brownsville.. just some nice ones around here...

That's funny!! Sad thing is it's 100% true. There has been rumors to the following They are trying to put this to a vote, and it's for overall "improvements" to the stadium that's in place. They want to add more seating, end one seating is what they are after. Also the stadium infrastructure. I don't know if that includes parking or not. My recommendation is to park at the highschool, or the old Walmart, not heb, at least you have a stop light that will stop traffic while you get a cross the road, right there by McDonald and 35. If you park by heb, you don't have a light, and you are playing the live version of frogger!! That's a good one!

Anyhow, construction should start on the indoor practice facility, the new swimming pool and the FEMA safe room or dome which will be used by the athletic dept for a new weight room and locker rooms for the other outside sports like soccer, track, etc. All of this will be located right next to the existing field house.

I have to agree with Stiffy that the Calallen Visitors side is not bad. The parking is available if you show up before gametime. It is metal bleachers, so bring a cushion seat if you need one. The concession and restrooms were adequate. That one in Kingsville that FBfan mentioned is by far the worst 4A Stadium in Texas. If you have not experienced a game there then you have nothing to complain about. Mopac Field, Kingsville, TX 78363

Varsity games are at Javelina which is quite nice.

It was right in the middle of a residential area and it was like running the gauntlet every time the buses were leaving.

I can only speak for the visitor seating
SA Southside - like a rusty tin can full of sardines waiting to crumble Pleasanton, I believe it was upgraded a few years ago. Also nothing says classy like splitting the conesssion stands down the middle with chain a link fence. Beeville for those splinter filled benches and 2 stall restrooms. This might have been upgraded.
Floresville's visitors side was awful before the renovations. Same for the restrooms

"FEMA" safe room? In other words your school district is taking advantage of a loophole to get the government to pay for your new facilities? Genius. I wish Alice would do that.
