There is a lot of guess work at GP and it all depends on GP with 100% of the team with a new attitude. Look out for Beeville. They have been rebuilding and they seem to understand the Wing T. 65% of the teams who run the Wing T, do not understand the Wing T. GP ran it for years and did not understand the Wing T. How many times did you see GP run the waggle(Roll Out).

Any word on who will be the top dogs in the valley? Im sure EE Mercedes and maybe Mission will be on top. Any insight? Any teams move down from 5A? Valley teams are top heavy with 5A teams. Correct. I think a few might move down in 2014 with Sharyland and Donna opening two high schools which right now have around 3,000 with one school.

As far as J. Williams goes, he will be looked at by several schools. I know when Blow U was here watching Brooks, several of the guys were really liking JW. They list him as 5' 10" 200 lbs. This was his #'s at the beginning of last year, so he's put on few lbs of muscle since then. I am 5'10" and he has me by a few inches, so I would say 6'0" or 6'1". Better than all that, he's a really good kid. He's got a good head on his shoulders. Life has thrown him some curve balls, but he's worked through it. He's the type of kid that you want to see succeed. They gave him a little love in their Sooner video here. oklahoma.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1294194

How many times did you see GP run the waggle(Roll Out). Bush ran that a lot in the early 90s Davis ran it alot out of the gun with Aj. You almost have to with both sides of the line your looking over are 6 footers and your qb is listed as 5'9. Maybe 5'9 with some steeltoes.. Never a naked boot.. Always pull a lineman to protect or keep that rb in.. It worked. Ask the 2010 wildcats.. I know c5 we r 1-17. Zebra

I mistakenly posted on the wrong thread concerning the alleged height and weight of J. Williams, whoever posted that he was 6ft2in and 225lbs is fudging quite a bit, unless he grew 3 inches since I last saw him in February during basketball season when he looked to be 5ft 10 maybe, the weight is suspect but irrelevant. I have yet to see his name mentioned on any UT watch lists as well, I am not bagging on the kid but some of you need to lay off the kool-aid. Those D-1 scholarships are not passed around like a candy bar, if you believe so look around the area and you can count on your fingers the kids who are now playing D-1 football. Not saying he won't end up playing somewhere but let him do something worthwhile on the field before you start putting undue pressure on him.

Williams will be a good player but he is not 225# and does not run a 4.5 he ran track on the JV team this year. I am a calhoun fan 100% but we will go through some growing pains this year and I believe J. W. will have a good year and so will calhoun. Not sure who is watching him but he did make this list rivals.yahoo.com/texas/football/recruiting/rankings/rank-3066 at number 41 so will see how this year plays out. GP Bisby will have a great year he proved it last year that he is a good running back. He will get his shot at calhoun should be a great game............ Thats all I got to say about that!

Big difference from 6'2", 225 lbs., and a 4.5 forty to 5'10", 200 lbs., and running JV track. Nevertheless, best of luck to him this season and the Crabs. Great team & great community. I'll take our "chubby" little RB every day of the week...

JV track??? 4.5 40 speed equates into a pretty good 4a sprinter certainly worthy of at least the relay team I would think on the varsity level?

I did nothing but compliment the kid. Which is more then yall can say about how yall have spoke in regards to williams. Some of yall take excerpts of what is saod, take it out of context and run with it. Im not gonna touch on some other comments because they are not worth the time. GP81,your usually a pretty straight.arrow.poster but you dang well ididnt mean anything negative about the "chubby" comment . Smh.
