Right now, I'd take Cal hands down in R4 D2 to win the region. I also think they stand a Hell of a shot of winning against R3 this coming year and playing for the title. I hope they bring it home!

I think Cal's defense will have to carry it again for a few weeks. The offense will likely have a new QB as I think last years QB is going strictly baseball. And just can't go without saying, Price was an enormous part of that offense. Hopefully we have some more Price kids on their way.

But I don't think the offense will be slow to get out of the gate like it did last year. No doubt the D will be ahead of the offense none the less.

We are always a little behind because of no spring practice and just getting on the same page in the spread.

I think that Calallen will be nasty on defense. But on offense it will take time. Thus year alot of new coaches are taking over around the state and a long run is possible from our area

Certainly expect Bisby to lead the area in rushing.

Rb at driscol middle school, one of my buddies was one of the coaches. They are both awesome backs yall just havent seen Williams run yet. Hes special. Texas Tech visited recently. I cant eait to see these two kids get after it.

You can't compare Williams to Bisby yet. Bisby has proven it on the field the last two years. If, and when Williams can put the numbers up that Bisby has, then you can start to compare them. Right now, Bisby has the upper hand. All we know is that PLC had four outstanding 1,000 yard rushers last year and Williams wasn't one of them; and we had our one 1,700 yard rusher, and that was Bisby!

Williams cam play any skill position as well as dline on the field. Cornerback, safety, linebacker,DE. Kicker, punter. Fullback, halfback. Is bisby on UT watch list yet?jus curious. Williams is special..bottom line ,.bisby is as well. Very special. Your logic is to penalize calhoun for not being a one trick pony last season. GP was. Williams will rack up yards. As well Boerm,as will Cantu(potentially)

By the way, Bisby is no longer a little chubby kid! And Bisby is on many more D1 watch lists than Williams is. He has been since after his freshman year. And Bisby can play all those positions as well. He did his freshman year. So, like I said, until the numbers are put up, Bisby has the upper hand. And we'll see how many yards your other players will put up. No one will know until they show it on Friday nights. Being successful at the JV & freshman level does not translate into success at the varsity level. Until they prove it on the field, it's all nothing but talk.
