I always respect the Crab Nation! Like I said, it's between you guys, the Bluff, & Alice to represent the Coastal Bend at state this year...G-P & Calallen will just sit back & watch y'all go. We're really down this year...still rebuilding and learning our new offense.

Our crabs are greeeeeeen...young unproven players, will be lucky to win a game......

PLC will be very physical and well disciplined, but there are a lot of uncertainties going into next year. Hunter is a big strong kid, but can he lead the varsity offense and can he make his reads quicker now that he's playing with the big boys? Can he mesh with the Taquan's and JW's of the team? Who's going to step up on the DL? At LB? At CB?
I believe Calallen is definitely the team to beat. But, what we'll see out of PLC, VE and GP is a big ?. GP should be much better in year 2 of new coach. VE will have talent, but how will they do under new coach. The kids at PLC have been playing this system for a while, but who's going to step up and give JW some help? Beeville will also be better. VW, IMO, is one good QB away from being a good team.
And we all know that T-M will be SOLID!
I wouldn't be suprised to see Calallen go undefeated in district and have 2 or 3 teams with 2 loses in district. I could also see someone suprising Calallen and maybe having a 3 way tie for District Champions.
Just My Opinion, though!

I think Hunter progressing into a Varsity qb, and finding Another FB to give williams a break will be huge. During practice...Hunter stiff armed a would.be tackler pretty good. First time weve seen a QB do that in a few years..he looks like hea coming along. Whit gets those boys rilled up and ready to play
