There’s a rumor that Boerne already had a non-district home and home planner with Peiper next two years, so depending on how realignment ends up both BISD schools could play them. Based on how everything is shaking out I think Davenport goes 5A since the number of big 5A/6A schools is increasing, putting them in with Uvalde, Somerset, Boerne, Tivy, Álamo Heights and Judson Vets. Possibly South San and Southside as well. Peiper replaces NB Canyon in the SV/BC District. Would Davenport be 4A D1 or 5A D2 with that number?

I thought the same thing because it never goes down, but if they keep 6A at 250 and want to keep the rest of the levels somewhat even, well, there are more schools getting bigger than there are smaller…it may have to move down. I guess we will know soon. Comal will be glad to keep them 4A and possibly snag a title or two.

With the numbers that butchdog posted: Here's what I see (so far) - 6A - 2250 and up - that's 249 + 3 opt ups = 252 total - 5A-1 - 1815 to 2249 - that-s 131 + 1 opt up = 132 total - 5A-2 - 1250 to 1814 - that's 122 + 1 opt up = 122 total - 4A-1 - 890 to 1249 - that's 88 +8 opt ups = 96 Looks like Davenport would move up to 5A-2 with an enrollment of 1295
