NW didn't played bad, just Ryan's defense was more physical and won the game. Ryan also had an interception towards the end of the game to seal the deal. No new wrinkles in Ryans offense that I notice since they played Aledo. Ryans qb had a long TD run which was a decisive factor in the game. For an important game towards playoff seating, both team coaches appeared to play it close to the vest. And where are Ryans fans? They didn't show up for our game or this game like I thought they would. My biggest take of the game....I was surprised that NW didn't move the ball better. Kudos to Ryan.

I would take SV in that matchup. But Fulshear is better than last year and have over 2600 kids enrolled. Honestly, I say SV vs Fulshear this year is about as tossup of a game as there would be. Fulshear would definitely have the athlete to athlete advantage in the game but coach Hill and staff are the great equalizer. I wouldn't put any money on that game if it happens. Not a plug nickel! Agreed. Too risky.

Clem, I'm not sure that I agree. I think Aledo, Red Oak, Longview, CS, Fulshear, SV and North have the best shot to win State with the way things are layed out. I agree that R1&2 have a lot of heavy hitters but R3 has 3 legit teams who could win it all. However no matter what region, either win or go home. I saw on twitter last night that the Red Oak QB got hurt last night. Hope he is ok but that would be a big blow for them if he cant come back. What did you think of Ryan and NW last night? Newspaper reports the Red Oak QB has a high ankle sprain. Wishing a speedy recovery.
