Nice breakdown TWolvesFan. Having followed this board and a lot of the D11 comments it seams to me that the really the only spot D11 teams want to try and avoid is the #4 spot. That would require them to go through the D12 #1 SV but also potentialy and a fulshear team nobody seems to be talking about. And then may also have to circle back and take on College Station again. A Fulsher team that just turned in 2900. Thats a huge advantage over most or all 5aD1

Thx!! To be honest, R3 D11 & D12 is really going to be a gauntlet no matter where anyone starts their bracket… then add D10 to the mix for those heading into the 2nd round and beyond!!

I think Fulshear just had their hands full with Manvel. It will be interesting to see if they can make noise in a crowded R3.

This is not hard to fix, UIL. But it's the UIL. Just SMH.

Big city ISD's have more pull than the smaller ISD's and they use this to advantage regionally as well. So when the UIL wants to do something like keep the State Football Championships in the DFW area, it has the backing of all those ISD's within a few hours radius of the DFW area which greatly out number the of ISDs if you drew a line from 1-10 southward to the border excluding the Houston area ISD's. They have their own bloc in that corner of the state.

They don't fix it because I truly believe to do not really care all that much to do so. It would take some actual work to correct this BS and not let it happen

Manvel High was the same when we played them in the Semis in 2011. There are numerous instances of this happening and it just keeps on keeping on. Nothing to see here says the UIL.... Nothing to see.

It would be interesting to see how many in the top 10 have 6A numbers right now. I know Aledo and Longview are on the bubble. Fulshear is over.

Smithson Valley may end up with 5a d2 numbers. THe senior class is the largest in the school and is the last class that was allowed to grandfather in and stay at SV when Pieper opened up. Current senior class is 545 and current sophmore class is 492. Assuming Junior and freshamn are around the same as sophmore.

Wow Well that doesn't jive with what I see listed as their current enrollment this year which is 2310 kids then

I only know the senior and sophmore class because that is the grade where my kids are and I am reading it right off their transcripts.
