I did too. I actually thought Floresville was smaller than Calhoun. Maybe they used to be? Was just playing around looking at the numbers and kind of shocked at what I saw. Thought ya'll might find it interesting as well. No doubt they have benefitted from eagle ford Probably some but not in an abundance. Karnes County is ground zero.

Most of the people moving into the heart of the Eagle Ford activity area are single and/or without kids, thus towns like Three River and George West which themselves are booming, the school districts remain 2A. Those with kids and/or married are living in Corpus, Victoria, or San Antonio. Or very close by to those cities in order to take advantage of the aminities the larger cities offer. Likewise, those three cities are attracting spin off industries that work directly or indirectly in the oil field. For example, Bakers Hughes opened huge facilites just south of San Antonio and near the airport in Corpus. That's the stuff that's feeding the growth here.

BTW calallan sux, GP drama queens always will be, alice rock chunking mangy want a be dogs better watch out for the HIVE it will be buzzzzzing

No doubt the support industries are bringing new people to the area. And no doubt the M@G plastics and the Iron Company from Austria will add numbers too. I see enough out of state plates in our neighborhoods either shopping for houses or have moved in and just haven't graced their vehicles with a license plate from the Great State of Texas. People who have moved in or transferred from other oil producing states or from states where the economy generally still sucks.

No doubt they have benefitted from eagle ford Probably some but not in an abundance. Karnes County is ground zero. I guess, the last time we went to San Antonio, the truck traffic was hideous. Yorktown, Cuero etc are all major beneficiaries, I had heard that floresville also got some kids. Maybe that's not the case. Best of luck this year. Hope to see y'all down the line
