Ok I went to Cal and graduated from TM. My senior year our starting QB had transferred from GP to TM and was deemed eligible. 3 games into the season he moved to Cal to be their QB. He was deemed ineligible by UIL and told to move back to TM. This was not Danaher's doing, this was the doing of the father. Does Danaher run a program that kids want to play for? Most definitely... Has he in the past benefitted from a coach from TM moving to work for him when they have a stud athlete son? Definitely... Was it illegal? No way, I knew of the situation and TM screwed that coach over and blew it for that kid. Has Danaher benefitted from other kids transferring from areas all over? Absolutely. Did Morris befit at Carroll for transfers and the "magnet" school label ccisd had on every school back then? Absolutely... Has every quality school had a transfer come in from a lesser known school so they can be noticed? Absolutely... Is it wrong? Possibly the parents are wrong but if it helps them not pay for college then why not? My point is this, every quality program has a reputation for being a quality program and parents want their kids to play for them. It is not recruiting. I have met with Danaher to possibly work for the man, and I even went to church with him and several other coaches from Calallen. They knew I was a coach for other schools and they were always down to earth. The man may be a drill sergeant for his program and may be extremely hard on the kids, but he gets results and discipline from his players, BUT he is not a cheater. The refs may cheat other teams but not Danaher ;-) .... Just kidding Cal guys We've heard complaints down this way about kids transfering here. The reality of it is the kids that use to transfer to the cueros, refugio, st. Joes are now coming here. Why? Because of the program. Its a selling point . Whitaker had never seeked a kid out. I only know of one instance when St. JOE WAS actively recruiting a seadrift kid that was gonna be a freshman and Whit stepped in on that one. But the kid was his to begin with

Of lately, the only kids Refugio have loss the Coach couldn't promise the parent that their kid would start at a certain position. Good luck getting what they want somewhere else.

But you are 100% wrong to say he is not a cheat. Calling the parents of 8th graders from Edna and asking them to come play for Calallen is absolutely cheating. Good for you that your experience with him was a positive one and I am sure that some of their transfers are legit. But sorry, you are wrong to say he is not a cheat. I am not in the business of coming on here and spreading gossip. He recruits. Plain and simple. You are kidding yourself if you think ALL the transfers are the result of parents making the decision on their own to move to Calallen.

You have your opinion. I have heard the same about Soza, and have worked with him before and know that those rumors are also false. But again, you have your opinion so I'm not gonna convince you otherwise. I will say all that has to happen if those situations at happening is the parent call UIL or you yourself call UIL and report it. The main office is in Austin and they will fully investigate everything. It won't be the first time a parent has called them about a coach, but since those parents never called UIL then I'm thinking it never occurred or they are as shady as the coach for allowing it.

All he does is come on here and accuse. I hope danaher gets a lawyer and files deformation suit against cochino. He has all the evidence he needs from these boards. Its all sour grapes and jealousy!!

I'm not in the business of reporting kids. Unfortunately, it's not just Danaher that would be getting called on, there is kids involved. You are silly the way you threaten lawsuits over message board trash talk. Can I sue you? You have "defamed" my character on here as well? Huh? Can I? Since you seem to think it's that simple. Silly kid. And its "defamation", not "deformation" as you put it lmao.

It's not my "opinion". It's a fact. Unbelievable. So because you have no knowledge of the recruiting means that my claims are bogus? If you don't know, then nobody can know I guess. Nice logic.

The word "fact" has been used some many times in this forum. I think it has lost some meaning.
