Dang it another out for the season according to RUMOR. I have the count at 4 starters out now. The back ups are going to have to step up big. Good thing Coach has been getting a lot of guys plenty of snaps so they will be ready. Defense still should be ok with some to step up. In the last few weeks, you can see the timing on Mims passes is on target. Last week was a strange game for both sides of the ball but special teams got into the act with the punt return. Someone said in another post that this team reminded them of the 05 team. FB had some great TD runs on kickoffs during that season. This will be a really good test for the DBs. GO Hornets I hope our DB's don't try too much for the INT and just play the ball and receiver properly. We have done much better this year in coverage....hope to see more of the same.

Evidently there is some bulletin board material floating around where Ray feels they have the Division Title locked up. There are around 60 boys in Maroon, Black, and White that might think a lot differently. I think we are going to see a very focused Flour Bluff team this Friday. We have a loss to avenge to those guys that last time we played them at Buc.

The key to beating Ray is to keep their QB off the field.. Good running teams like GP, PLC, and even FB can do that. FB has the size to push around the ray D. They are not big on the D line

They are not big on the D line Otter said the Ray D swarms to the ball well but are weak on tackling in space. That is a death knell agains Flour Bluff.

I'd just send every deep and let the ends go at Mims so he can juke them and then tuck it and run. Lather, rinse, repeat...
