That is evident this year with FB taking a knee in scoring position to end the game. If the 2nd and 3rds keep scoring like they did in the past it will be a high scoring affair again. I am hoping that the FB Defense holds tight for a shutout.

I had a friend in high school that had the same injury and didn't get it worked on until he was 40. I know that not the way to do it today but I remember Emmit Smith had a shoulder taped up and got surgery after the season. I'm sure you won't let him make the decision but he's a teenager and they live forever. Now I'm in your wife doghouse....right???

Anyone else read the print edition of the CT today with the team capsules for area teams?
Andrus was quoted as saying FB has been working on just about exactly what the FB posters have said on here. Coincidence or like minded thinking?

Against a team like Cigarroa he'll try not to put himself in the position. But vs Cal, Alice, GP, PLC and the such he'd take a knee at the goalline to end the game. That is a much bigger dagger than just going on in to score. No coach wants to see the opponent take a knee at the goalline to end the game.

Danaher used the ultimate dagger last year against us...he had Price kneel a punt he received late in the game. Ouch!

We are talking to a few more doctors and will have the surgery. The tear happened at Laredo in the 4th quarter and the shoulder popped out the next week so it would just keep popping out. The damage isn't too bad though. It will take six weeks of isolation and then therapy afterward. No contact for six months. I figure he will be able to play baseball after a month or so of therapy, just no head first slides or running over catchers.

Coincidence or like minded thinking? well maybe he understands that some people are not just arm chair qb but played the game and understand the game. plus we watch the game not just sit there and cheer, yea i read that, was kind of ironic.

LOL I think FBs 2nds will get 2-3 scores after the first are done with about a 35-42 to 0 lead!

the d is getting most of the flags. last weeks game with all the personal fouls called was ridiculous. d needs to clean it up, and keep playing hard. Agree and I still did not see what they were calling. Not face mask or out of bounds or late hits I could see. Any clue? as much as i hate to say it i thought several were called especially toward the end to keep the score down after the bluff had scored again, flag, then got back inside the five the next play. to only have that wiped out too. just saying, maybe just a coincidence.

Congratulations to Cigarroa running back Jesse Sanchez for being an Academy Sports and Outdoors player of the week. Just wondering can a player be given this award more than once in the year? Since Nixon's QB Ralph Perez & RB Richie Rendon have already won it. I'm not taking anything away from Jesse Sanchez as he is a real good player but Richie Rendon had a better performance I guess thats why im asking this question. RB Jesse Sanchez: 18 Carries, 111 yards, 1 TD - 5 Receptions, 26 yards & 1 interception. RB Richie Rendon: 16 Carries, 154 yards, 2 TD's - 3 Receptions, 65 yards, 1 TD.
