The headline says it all FBfan! With the departure of Dempsey Thorton, King now faces girls that are taller! The girls really did well in the first game...at one point I think it was 18-1. Our girls have developed a camaraderie that hasn't existed in the last few years. Each girl is being treated as an equal instead of having a group of seniors act superior. All in all, it will be the ingredient to success that was missing. They would like to get another shot at Carroll, but that might not happen until after the season is over and playoff warm-up games are being played. It really hurts to lose Calallen and T-M to another district as there were some exciting games last year between those teams and us. Moody has stepped up though and took Calallen to 3 games in the Spikefest Tournament. All of Cal's seniors quit volleyball, so they are a little young and not as strong as they were last year. They won't win 30-4A as Victoria West will dominate. Coach Wallace has found a nice rotation that works. It's still early in the season so the consistency is lacking a bit, but when they get that down, look out. The Sinton Tournament is this weekend and we should have a good shot to win it.

Bluff beat Beeville and now beating Mathis. Austin LBJ is next. I really think they have a good chance of winning this tournament.

Bluff girls got 3rd in the Sinton Tournament out of 32 teams. They lost in the semi's agains Austin Anderson which was really the title game imo. They gave them a great games losing 2-1. Anderson won it all and will be a force in the Austin 5A region this year. It was great effort by the Bluff girls. Harper and Luby were all tournament, but they couldn't have gotten there without great passing, setting, and defense. This group is the best I've seen in the last 3 years and will make some waves. Congrats Ladies!

Our laydown yard is just outside the C.C. City limits so I can walk from my office to the back and be dove hunting in a few minutes if I ever need a quick fix!

Our laydown yard is just outside the C.C. City limits so I can walk from my office to the back and be dove hunting in a few minutes if I ever need a quick fix! Nice bro!!!! My cousin got a sweet deal on a 100 acre lease on IH 10 (Central/South border) and asked me to shred about 20 acres for it and in turn he is letting my boy and I have access to it as much as we want. It is 9 miles from my house so I am roading the tractor over there Friday morning to get it done. He told me that for the last two years it has been unreal! He said the first few weeks you can kill a limit in 10 minutes and if you selectively shoot, have them all fall within 30' of where you sit! LMAO The amount of whitewing doves in this area is just unbelievable. They come from the fields on the other side of 10 and fly back into Cibolo, schertz, converse, etc to roost. Literally hundreds of thousands of birds. Sounds like a blast and my boy is pumped.
