I'm thinking whoever wins this game will be playing in the State Final. I really do not think any of the teams left in this bracket can stop one of these two.

The Calallen boys are swinging the bats very well, what concerns me is that we have yet to see any quality pitching through the first 3 rounds. Smithson Valley will have a much better pitching staff than what we have seen over the last three weeks. The defense is playing great, along with quality pitching from Hill and Arrevalo. Smithson Valley will have quality pitching along with a better offensive line up. The cats are peaking at the right time and seem to have great chemistry. Best of luck to the Calallen boys next week.

MG so true we seen not so well pitching but even then the boys are making adjustments with what they been thrown too them. I believe with better pitching it give us a better look and better quality at bats, someone said this team is one of the better hitting teams come thru calallen in awhile can u testify to that.

Offensively I would say this team ranks up there with the 2000 & 2008 teams without a doubt. Defensively the 2008 team was a special group with two D1 pitchers.

Not trying to knock any of the past teams, but the 2008 team was just a beast fielding the ball. That team did not commit errors, so if you were going to beat them, then you had to do it with the long ball.

There have some great teams that have played for Coach Chapman each one was unique and a pleasure to watch.

The only loss that year was the result of a long ball by Moody early in the season if I remember correctly...

I think Jordan pitched that one and was pretty flawless for most of the game?

Anybody have an idea when and where this might be played? Seems like going to SA to play all three will be too much in favor for SV.......
