I just know old Pico will come over the bridge to attend a GP favorite. This evening there will be the 2024 Honk Parade that runs from Northshore CC to Ray Akins stadium. Maybe this years Honk Parade master of ceremonies will be GP37. He sure like to piss on GP55”s parade. It don't take much to rain on GPFannies parade. He hunts for a reason to join the pitty party.

It doesn’t matter how big you are if you have slow feet. I watched a right side end or tackle with slow feet and the opponent on a blitz was successful sacking Reed Dooms and sailing past the block. Bench press biceps is for the girls and legs is for blocking. Step dip and uncoil. Agility should start in Junior high. I wish I had made a video of me jumping rope when I was younger. To music “Sweet Georgia Brown”. The spread is mostly pass blockers and reason you don’t have a running game. Give me a right guard about 200 lbs that can trap block and block down field. GP has a new QB Coach and needs a top O line coach. I am for blocking and tackling. I wonder what Coach Jimmy Johnson would charge to come and Coach tackling. I think that Coach at Calallen has coached against GP before. I could be wrong. I came from Coyote country. There was a team on the other side of town the Booker-T Washington Leopards. Both teams were state champions. I watched the Oil Bowl games every year. I watched Breckenridge Coach by Emory Bellar. Byron Townsend of Odessa Bronchos. Highland Park with Doak Walker and others. I have watched two state title games in the same day. I watched the famous Warren McVea vs Linus Bauer game in black and white on TV. I don’t want to see a 300 lb lineman back pedaling into Reed Dooms trying to throw a pass. Then there is the problem of a receiver taking forever to get open. It takes a village. Now hold on 37, my old nawgin still works pretty good, didn’t you once say since you had skinny chicken legs that would repulse Colonel Sanders, your coach wouldn’t move you to varsity? Wes Bonneau and Schmidt are damned good linemen and no one’s going to push them anywhere. Both of them will be playing next season in college. No I don't have skinny legs and I even wear compression socks to improve circulation and my cardiologist told me yesterday, I have another year of battery life on my pacemaker. I am bionic and my hearing aids are wireless and hooked to my phone and Ipad. When I mention it takes a village, this is Reed Dooms last year and I want it to be his best. My coach should have been fired and he dropped me from the team in the 7th,8th,9th, and I was on his JV for two years when he got promoted and got to play in one game for about 3 plays. I don't have any use for bad coaches. You can't just blame Reed Dooms for his low percent. I watch the receivers and is their forward leg inside to the ball and is their chest over their knee and or they watching for the snap of the ball instead of listen for the count. . Do they get open at the same speed as they run the forty. I watch the feet of the O-Line and they don't coach angle blocking at GP. I will be at the Calallen game but expect first game mistakes and take it with a grain of salt. I don't know how this new Cal coach will be but it helped to play Coach Phil Danaher early in the year. He made adjustments quick. I am thinking positive about GP this year with a few coaching modifications but tamp down you expectations and you want be disappointed. I bet GPFan55 is a nice guy if you ever meet him. Me and GPJohn disagree and he is a nice guy. Go Wildcats.

That was a really good scrimmage. There were not a bunch of missed assignments. Guys got after it. I was expecting a sloppy 7am scrimmage and that was not the case. I’m very intrigued by what I saw. Obviously things to improve on but that was a very good scrimmage.

Well fannie you don't have a clue for what I am doing behind the scenes to help the coaching at GP and help the players improve their character. You don't know squat about me . Your hatred of me means zilch to me. Actually it is not just the athletics, I have a thank you note from Super Cavazos. I have two thank you notes from Coach Randy Allen of Highland Park.

Losing Holmgreen imo is a big deal. He was a great O-line coach and team motivator.

I’ve talked to a couple of players on the team and the players love his enthusiasm. He is exactly the type of young energetic coach that the boys need.

Man if you could single out which coach that his ego is more important than the athlete and give them a pink slip it would be a great improvement. I will take that up with Coach Brent Davis this week. Could you explain that Brownwood Stain. Cain’t find it on Google. Working on plans to see several Brownwood games this year. My son is sending me pictures of their scrimage. Busy schedule working in the Cuero vs Sinton game. Been looking at the planes at the airport near me so I can cover more. I love it when plans come together. I met QB Andy Dalton at the Corinthian in Houston 7 March 2024 and told him I had three great grand sons in Katy that were going to follow in his foot steps at Katy. He got a laugh about it . They all started flag football this year and one of the twins is playing QB. I have another grandson that has been playing flag football at GP, He plays mostly defense secondary. I have 17 great grand children. Having more fun than the law allows.

I’m more concerned with not having a dedicated Strength and Conditioning coach.
