Barring a major upset the district top 4 will be 1- Smithson Valley 2- Wagner 3- Boerne 4-Canyon
Lots of unknowns still in District 11 but I see Smithson Valley and Wagner with realistic shots to advance against D11 3&4. Boerne has a remote shot (they are not an upper echelon team as someone suggested a few weeks back) if they get a favorable matchup. Sorry Canyon, I’d say the same thing for you as I said about Boerne but a 4th place in D12 means a likely date with College Station in round 1. Your going home early

Only game this week that surprised me this week was Lehman beating Mac by 42. Mac has been out scored their last 4 games 224-0. They are going to get kids hurt. Saw them play a road game this season and there were maybe 30 people outside of the band/dance/color guard in the stands and most of them were chaperones for the band/dance/color guard.
What is going on over there. Those kids deserve better

Your going home early I like the top 2 teams chances in round 1, not so much for teams 3 & 4. SV will win and Wagner has a good chance. Whoever matches up against CS is in trouble. The only team I see with an outside chance of beating them before Dallas is SV just because they have the best defense and are so well prepared on game day. Even then, I just don't think SV has the firepower to get it done. I sure hope I'm wrong.

If SV is able to go on a 8 minute 83 yd drive that ends in a touchdown like they did against champion then they shorten the game considerably and I take my chances with that defense. What worries me about SV is that usually there is a game or two a season that the offense has to bail out the defense who is having an off night. Fortunately SV’s defense has been lights out every game. Only game SV needed more out of their offense was against Reagan and they didn’t step up resulting in their only loss.
SV offense looked really good against Boerne. SV did pretty much what they wanted all game on offense. Really didn’t have to do too much because as they have done all season the defense forced Boerne into turnovers on 5 straight possessions including a nearly 80 yd pick six which essentially put the game out of reach.
On a different note. Hey Boerne, you have two solid high school programs in that town and play in a stadium that is absolutely falling apart.

Yea, stadium is a dump. BISD hopes to get a Bond passed within the next year or 2. It’s gonna be tough as the last 2 bonds barely passed.

Yea I was the one that suggested Champion might be in the upper tier with Wagner and SV. That doesn’t appear to be the case now, as Champion is clearly set apart from them. This district race isn’t as exciting as I had hoped. Hays and Seguin are on the outside looking in, with another clear separation between them and Canyon - Champion

It makes Lehnhoff Stadium look like the Hilton. It needs a multi HS stadium treatment. At least something like Canyon Cougar Stadium.

Ain't possible. No way! Not sure if you’ve been recently. But the visitors side metal is old and rusty, the bleachers are still made of weathered wood from Little House on the Prairie and the visitors side press box is more of a platform with a desk. I’m surprised no one has gotten tetanus from sitting in the wrong seat.
