Do you ever give it a rest or stop repeating yourself constantly? Smh I doubt it Clem, then Yotes got embarrassed by losing to a 3-7 team in 1st round of the playoffs and now they want to find a way to save face by comparing their loss to Calallen as a success. I’ll give them credit by hitting the Cal defense at their weak spot the Def secondary. If I was a Boerne coach that would be the game that exposed that weakness. GP had the same soft spot and Boerne attacked it in every series of play effectively. In the off season both teams must work very hard to shore up that soft spot in the defenses. Nothing embarrassing losing to the better team. Calhoun made it further in the playoffs than GP did.

Edna Hung 40 on their DC. Boerne hung 49 on Calallen's DC. And 51 on Calhouns. Boerne is really good.

They should be 5a already if not for counting BHS students in Champions headcount. If what you are saying is true, then Boerne is essentially drawing from a 9A sized talent pool. Hard to compete with that as a 4A.

Not trying to stir the pot with Champion fans but when Champion opened it seemed to be the darling and the shiny new school that all the kids wanted to go to. I remember Boerne High being the school where the oldtimer's/locals sent their kids to. Kinda the lesser of the 2 schools or not the coolest to be at. I remember Boerne High being our rival before Champion was created and kinda glad to see them have success. Again don't take this the wrong way.

They’ve been known in some areas like down in the RGV to chip away at some enrollments and that’s one reason some of their schools have dropped from 6A to 5A and few are bordering from dropping from 5A to 4A. Some of that down there is crappy ISDs on the educational side of the coin.

Didn’t they close Boerne High in order to rebuild it for a couple of years when Champion opened?

Maybe ended up with a 42-27 score to feel more competitive. But at the end of the day that was a great football team and sometimes you just beat up by great football teams. There’s no shame in it.

The deeper a team goes the more bitter the final loss. Especially when it's not close! Unless you’re CC Warcat. He tells you not to pay attention to the scoreboard. If we would have made this first or didn’t get the bad call or maybe fumbled or maybe stepped out of bounds. A loss is never a loss to him

The deeper a team goes the more bitter the final loss. Especially when it's not close! Your team lost to a 3-7 team and was one and done. Why do you keep on doing this to your poor little self?

Hell the AD moved from the Boerne basketball coach to the Champion basketball coach - and never went back. He caught flack and is now trying to get back in good graces
