Should be a dandy of a game. Common opponent would be Somerset. Similar scores for Cal and Boerne. Cal played better defense and Boerne played alittle better on offense against Somerset. I’ve seen the Boerne/Somerset game and the Bulldogs were able to move to ball, they had 4 turnovers if I’m not mistaken. So looking at Boerne’s size, speed, and other things they look like the favorite, however I believe this is a close matchup and a winnable game for Cal.

Cal has to play more crisp than they have been. They can win but can't afford those penalties deep in the red zone and mistakes

I'm going with Boerne in this one, common opponents aside. I hope I'm wrong.
I'm growing tired of the cliche that Calallen hasn't played their best game yet. We're 13 weeks in, and at this point you are who you are.

Boerne Offense 45 PPG Boerne Defense 13 PPG Calallen Offense 42 PPG Calallen Defense 9 PPG Boerne has had a tougher schedule. No La Ferias, Zapata's, Kingsville's TM's etc on their schedules.

Should be a great game either way. Boerne is solid on both sides of the ball. But Calallen's defense is one of the best in the state! And let's not forget the depth in offense. Mr. Burnett can take control of a game in a hurry. Don't count the cats out just yet

Not by much. San Antonio Memorial and San Antonio Kennedy are just as bad as those teams listed. Uvalde wasn’t too far behind, maybe TMs strength? Fredericksburg was more back to their norms vs last year which is mediocre. Other than that, we had two common opponents in GP and the Bluff and played a respectable (9-2) Private school in Antonian. Salado was another opponent , ended season 3-8 with their scare of Cuero in the first round. Pleasanton was another non conference game and they were maybe mediocre.

And sloppy will get them beat against Boerne

Some will try to discount that game because it was early season, but it was game one for both FB and Boerne and it was game 3 for both FB and Calallen. Apples and apples. Ought to be a good game as regional championships should be with only 8 teams still standing.
