Depends. Do they have their own City Charters/City Government? Basically it’s like this, is Oklahoma Texas? Is New Mexico Texas? Heck is Mexico Texas? No? What makes them not Texas? Borders and independent government. Calallen, Flour Bluff, and TM are 100% Corpus Christi. Robstown is right next to Calallen, separated by maybe 3 miles max… but guess what. Robstown is Robstown. They have their own city government. To be fair, all 3 schools also have boundaries drawn into other towns. Both Calallen and TM have boundary lines in the town of Robstown. They are not 100% in Corpus city limits. As for flour bluff, they have boundaries drawn into Mustang Island and Padre Island that are not Corpus city limits, so they too are not 100% Corpus... Also, small history lesson, Calallen and TM both had their own city governments that were over ran by the Corpus government at various times as recently as the 1960s. Even Annaville was separate... So that is why we do not like being referred to as "Corpus" schools... Before CC annexed FB illegally against our will we didn’t have or want no stinking government. |

Being told Alice ISD was going through and screening applicants today I imagine calls for interviews will go out this week I want Alice to hire a great football coach/athletic director. It will be good for South Texas. |

Wow Seems like a pretty big number Well, hopefully they do more than one per day and whittle it down to a final 3 or 4 fast for final interviews if that is their process. |

The problem we have and why we're complaining about the board not letting us know names is that they are still leaking the names to their buddies so why not the rest of us. If the board would just keep their mouths shut in the first place then I think we'd all be OK with not knowing either. Look at how Rockport-Fulton handled it. Took less than a month and nobody really knew who got the job until they revealed it at that event they held yesterday afternoon. That was a legit event they had to reveal the new AD. |

That was a legit event they had to reveal the new AD. i feel like the names we heard for the most part r probably in the running.. maybe not.. i think we as alice fans know we can expect the u excepted with the school board.. i just really hope they do the right thing pick a coach that will do good things . |

FB got out of that district because of the CCISD Politics. GP too. Both of them and Calallen play much tougher competition that Vets. You just refuse to see it. Neither 2022 Flour Bluff nor 2022 GP get by Miller, Vela, nor PSJA North. Those are facts. Didn't play because FB and GP are both division 2. Just like the MAJORITY OF CCISD SCHOOLS. Minus the OPT UPS. Vet has NEVER played a legit team their own size outside the playoffs. And we have all repeatedly seen what happens then. Vets Record has been inflated by playing against smaller schools. Most from within their own ISD. You like to bring up teams outside CCISD to make things look better. It's not working. AND THESE ARE THE FACTS. They are TRUE and UNSDENIABLE. Good luck getting to the region final and getting your asses waxed by the region 3 rep again. It is inevitable. Vets RECORD HAS PROVEN IT OVER AND OVER. |

Alice and TM both need to do that to get better applicants and a real hiring process alice will probably never do that when it comes to a coach.. all these board members think they have what it takes to hire cause then were involved in litte league and were members at one time on those . so they think they know it all.. honestly think that didnt go to good either . lol egos will never let the best happen. heck! maybe it will .. maybe we get the best candidate that applied and it works out.. lol |
