Alaniz had offers as a D1 QB and baseball, he went with UT offer in baseball and other than Sinton being his home he most likely consider UT home also so if he ever does move on UT is the most likely place.
Few openings now in 4a in area so some opportunities for some coaches to pick the right program to succeed in.

Given the hint, I’m going to guess it’s a GP Wildcat. What stud qb’s came out of GP that are now coaches?

just saw coach perry from robstown eating dinner at chillis almost stopped and asked him about applying for the job.. he was wearing robstown gear.. .. what phone calls were made to who He lives in Alice. ya i remember someone saying that. just thought i should of seen what was up .. but didnt want to seem like a werido .. lol. u know so many people want someone that is a coyote lives and breaths coyote football but heck he lives here wants the job why not? right? just like u posted his numbers r crazy good for what he has done where is has been . Stepp basically said he could be something big here in texas and is regarded as someone with potential. he knows whats up . so why not. alice isnt what alice is of the past. but doesn’t mean we cant get young energetic coaches who r trying to make a name of themselves. and alice still holds that tradition of being good .. i think if gives good credit to their resume. we need to take advantage of that.. plus being the year before a realignment in a weak district gives u a chance to get everyone on page with ur system still have a winning record and playoffs. wether we like it or not or district is what it is but helps a new coach gain momentum with the players and fans moving forward. i hope we rnt disappointed with what our district does

The narrative on this page is painting a picture of Atwood in a negative light. He didn't like it in Alice, he wanted out from the get go, he was frustrated with administration, parents were frustrated with him...all leading up to his eventual departure. However, many players, players parents, school personnel, including my mother, who works in the distrct, are genuinely sad to see him go. And Atwood is torn up about leaving. A players mother said the players were visibly upset when he told the players he was leaving. I'm not saying there's wasn't any type of turmoil in the athletic department, but you can't argue with the kids who played for the guy. They all loved him. All you can do now is wish the man well and hope this is the right move for him and his family. We can hope the new coach, who ever that may be, to continue and improve what Kyle Atwood started.

We can hope the new coach, who ever that may be, to continue and improve what Kyle Atwood started. ur right ive seen more post online from many on how he will be missed. he was here for 6 years right? most these kids now have only known him. we forget that as a coach not only r u coaching a sport but making men or women’s out of these kids.. those relationships will never be broken. heck we all have that in our era of playing. while we all agree or disagree on his abilities to take the coyotes to the next level it seems to have hit a plateau.. i definitely don’t argue he loved them. i just hope the next coach comes in and builds something better off what was started. i remember my brother-in-law played for davis and was a senior when soza came in .. they were on a high and confident and things went 360 on them kinda of like breaking them down and rebuilding them.. 2 totally different styles of coaching. but yet the still played their asses off because thats what coyotes do. thats y the fast these boys get a coach the better it will do them..
