Didn't anyone ever tell you that you need to dress and act for the job you want not the one you have or don't have in your case. Also there is a big difference in using you for free and paying you where you represent the district. There is a difference to me... there is no difference to them. They know what I'm about as the STXB persona and they still want me. Try harder next time. Nope you've exhausted all the free good advice from me. Keep doing without and bitching. |

I don't need your lectures. You've already done this before. I'm not on anyone's payroll or representing a school district currently so I'm not obligated to act a certain way for anyone. And I have plenty of coaches and school districts that reach out to me to walk their sidelines on gameday so you're 100% wrong on your advice. The problem is I'm not interested in anything temporary that's why I'm still looking. Stop trying to make it sound nefarious. If there was anything like that she wouldn't be staying around to assist until a permanent new superintendent was hired or 31 January otherwise. |

Teachers and Admin often retire mid year as they obtain a full service year for working the full semester.

Any word on the scoreboard? Someone mentioned earlier in the week that not till Zapata. I really wish they would have worked overtime as much as needed to have it ready tonight. Would have been a nice little motivator to have it ready for the Calallen game. I'm guessing the random rain we got throughout the week didn't help. |

Multiple rumors. First is Whatley didn't make it down here to talk to the team. Other rumor is Whatley will be inducted into the hall of honor tonight soooooooo neither rumor really align. Who knows.

One of my biggest gripes on here is the lack of local coverage the team gets from the local media. Even the social media pages take a few pictures and give minimal details. The picture shows the JV playing Flour Bluff or volleyball playing Kingsville. The caution says "alice was in action tonight." Literally, that's all. No score, no details about the game, nothing.
