The softer program increased players out for football everybody gets a trophy and more pictures to grandma but does not win ball games against same talent teams. Austen Ochoa and Marlon Crockett bailed out for a winning program. Coach Rhoades followed Coach George Harris lead that bought Coach George Harris 10 years of beating average teams. Coach Harris had 2 freshman teams and 1 sophomore team and 1 JV and 1 Varsity and had over 300 players out for football on all the teams and had one female on a team. GP bought a pig in a poke. 2017/2018 Roster 45 players Taylor Mccormick Seth Garcia JR Jorge Prado JR Ruben Camacho JR Christian Bentler JR Charles Gonzalez SR Jalen Brooks SR Joe Sauceda SO 2 years left 150 yds vs Calallen Austin Ochoa SO 2 years left Sean Nicosia JR Brandon Garza SR Gabriel Quinones SR Jude Wiggins SO 2 years left Brenden Landgraf SR Absar Ali SR Jose Estrada SR Mark Munoz 311 Lbs Martin Gutierrez SR Kyle Zipprian JR 1 year left Alex Trujillo SO Gilbert Hernandez SR Mitch Mcgarry JR 6 ft.3IN 175 Lbs Mark Flores SR Esai Gonzales JR Mathew Mireles Tylor Guzman SR Austin Aguirre SR Luke Perales SR Andrew Felan SR Samuel Guzman SR Logan Berger SR Jeremy Horner SR Tyler Gassaway JR Logan Suggs JR Yedidah Adusei SR Ross Delgado SR Edelmiro Reyna SR Troy Eubanks JR Sebastian Alfaro SR RJ Cruz SR Sebastian Opal SR Victor Mendez SR Sincere Chandler SR Jacob Schnurpel SR 2018/2019 Roster 74 Players Matt Wisor SR Marlon Crockett SO 2 years left Now playing College ball Seth Garcia SR Gaven Guzman Jr. Jorge Prado SR Juston Sanchez JR Sean Underwood SR Christopher Gonzales Christian Bentler SR Matthew Valencia JR Hunter Ortiz SR Carson Simmons JR Brian Hayek SR Joe Sauceda JR Eric Alaniz SO Jeremy Barker JR Sean Nicosia SR Holton Johnson SR Jude Wiggins JR one year left Mikal Johnson SR Reno Barrera JR Marcus Arroyo JR Austin Adkins JR Nathan Bowden JR Joseph Vaughn SR Cole Esslinger JR Andrew Cavazos JR Esteban Olvera SR Zethaniel Martinez JR Kyle Zipprian SR Nick Catalano SR Isaiah Chandler SO Robert Trujillo JR Colten Hankins JR Mitch Mcgarry SR Brandon Perez JR Esai Gonzales SR Felix Cantu SR Mathew Mireles Hunter Floerke SO Darius Smith JR Mason Bridgeman JR Cale Kruger JR Adrian Gonzales JR Clay Burkham SR Jaden Rowe JR Tyler Gassaway SR Dominick Zapata JR Logan Suggs SR Zachery Escobedo JR Liam Eby SR Rylan Cotten JR Maximus Anderson SR Troy Eubanks JR Evan Mora SR Samuel Lankford SR Johnny Rodriguez JR Brody Raines JR Michael Poling JR Ryan Zepeda JR Jeremy Lara JR Austin Cortez SR Cameron Loudon JR Jason Mcgarry JR Gabriel Taliaferro SR Christian Alvarado SR Anastacio played the same teams as Harris. Harris was better. Period. Anastacio won with Harris holdover talent then left when he realized he couldn't develop his own talent. Harris was indeed a much better coach. I talk with some alumni that played under Akins. Some played in college and they all agree. 37 is mad because Harris has no connection to Gordon Wood. He doesn't see what other great coaches an AD's see. Anastacio isn't AD material. Good coordinator and I think even he knows that. If he was so good and believed in himself, he would be an AD where he could make so much more money.

Hum, 1 loss last year to the Nat Champ and 1 spot out of the playoffs. Better record the last 9 years playing in teh SEC than TU playing in teh big 12-2 but them longhorns are going to show the aggies how it's done. lmfao. You Sips do know how stupid this sounds, right? You couldn't beat the YOUNGEST blOwU team in decades last year with a senior laden team but you are going to get er done playing an SEC schedule. Alrighty then.......lmfao 5.3 losses per season the last 9 years in the Big12-2 Shoot....I forgot, you guys got a coach from Alabama now so all those 4 & 5 Star players are going to show out instead of flame out.

I don’t know if I want to waste time beating on this dead dog but Chino mentions schedule and I believe VE and VW was not added to GP district until after Coach Harris’s retired and Coach Anastacio took over. Coach Harris did mention he would not want to take a AD/HC job again. GP QB Fishbeck was capable of making most coaches look good. Coach Anastacio and Coach Rhoades did not ever have a QB close to Fishbeck.

Good grief man holding up last season as a look at us , we are top tier is beyond pathetic Please look at how horrible the records were on your condensed schedule and get back with me. And chew on this while you are doing it. 2020 9-1 8-1 2nd (West) Orange Bowl 4th Jimbo Fisher Results Roster 2019 8-5 4-4 4th (West) Texas Bowl Jimbo Fisher Results Roster 2018 9-4 5-3 2nd (West) Gator Bowl 16th Jimbo Fisher Results Roster 2017 7-6 4-4 T-4th (West) Belk Bowl Kevin Sumlin Results Roster 2016 8-5 4-4 4th (West) Texas Bowl Kevin Sumlin Results Roster 2015 8-5 4-4 5th (West) Music City Bowl Kevin Sumlin Results Roster 2014 8-5 3-5 6th (West) Liberty Bowl Kevin Sumlin Results Roster 2013 9-4 4-4 4th (West) Chick-fil-A Bowl 18th Kevin Sumlin Results Roster 2012 11-2 6-2 t2nd (West) Cotton Bowl 5th Kevin Sumlin Results Roster With the exception of TWO years you have been average and not this SEC monster that is going to strike fear into the Longhorns! Get over yourselves and your butt hurt because your plans to dominate Texas football has been shattered. Puff! Thank goodness for the mandatory cupcake games the SEC encourages or you would have LOSING records or .500 records.

Dodge and defelct... the aggy way. I countered your argument and challenged you to point out within the last 10 years you all can claim SEC top tier status where the evil Longhorns should go cower in the corner. There is zero evidence the Horns can't and won't compete in the SEC and certainly be aggy's whipping boy. ZERO! Pure Projection by you maroon cult kool aid drinkers.

What do you think they're gonna do in that overrated SEC now? And now with that eSECpn brand they are gonna get all the recruits they want.

Stop acting like an average UT team didn't just beat your #2 in Georgia and follow it up with another average UT team barely losing to the LSU GOAT team by 1 TD. SEC is overrated. It's 2-3 good teams followed by 10-11 average to garbage teams but you have eSECpn talking about all 14 teams like they're all Alabama all the time and that's what gets you overrated.
