Sweet glad we got something out of you. Thought for a second there you didn't believe any kids transferred. There's nothing illegal with kids transferring smh. I have never once said it was illegal. Check your reading glasses prescription. I already pointed to the external factors like news, media, etc.. and said it's a coaches job to keep his players despite what some might consider unethical. Especially the lower end schools. South San Antonio schools have been getting raided by bigger and private schools for years. If you want to sit here and act like no unethical recruiting has ever been done have at it cupcake. You damn well know it has! All these programs are just full of angels aren't they? Living in the make belief! π

sotex we will get nothing out of this guy. he just wants to start a narrative for a built in excuse if the hype train for Southside doesn't live up to expectations. Just like last year. Though now they will be in a much easier district. I expect them to win it easily. Time will tell. People that have claimed recruiting on this forum: Chino, SS, L4L, and several others Proof: 0 Β There's proof but no need to give it at this time on a message board. The wrath that you might get from a school with money over it isn't worth it. Because we all know it's not the little schools with no money doing it. Hey but this is Texas ain't it? And winning is winning!

One good coach is as good as having 5 bluechip players. Example Ennis and Coach Sam Harrell who took Aledo to overtime with all Aledo talent in his first year back at Ennis. Keep an eye on LLANO who went down a div. Rouse may be better and they have a former Cedar Park coach who coached the WF Coyotes with a very good HC. I,m watching Coach Darren Alman trying to revive Nacogdoches.

Articles from NJ and California prove it's happening in Texas. Um nope. Does it happen. Sure it does. But I'm not going to call it recruiting. Guys transfer there kids all the time to try and get them playing time. That's transferring for athletic purposes IMO. But unless you can prove it......

That's not recruiting.. that's relocating. Nobody pro.isrd him or his family anything. It's indirectly recruiting because of the job creation the area had at that time. So, I lady takes a good job with the oil field to keep from commuting 2 hours every day and relocates to do so and it is indirect recruiting? I don't see it

Please show me where you have proof this is happening. Exactly what community around SA has the kind of money you are talking about to provide 'temporary houses' for families to come in so their kid can play for the school in that area. I'm sure there are one or two of those areas in SA but they damn sure are not the areas that have historically won the most in football! Please tell us where you've personally seen this happen in the SA area. I'll be waiting It's happening in plenty of areas and it also happens in low end areas as well. I can't believe how asleep at the wheel you are to this. Or are just taking one side of the argument to attempt to disprove it. I already said above I'm taking the gentlemen's way out of this. I'm not about to open up a scandal on a board. Let's just say an investigative journalist would put your arguments to shame! π Stay tuned for big news soon! Again, if anyone wants to relocate so that their son or daughter gets to play for a better program than the one they are currently at, why not? If there is no money or anything else of value exchanged than there is NO RULES broken.....It really is that simple. You may not like it but that is how it is and the truth.

There is another wrinkle. If one of the parents teaches at a school out of the district where they live, they can go to the school where the parent teaches. A player can live in the Taft Dist. and if mom teaches at GP, that player can go to GP. Yup My two did. Guess they were recruited.

I remember in the mid 50βs a worker from Sweetwater employed at a Glass factory had a son in JR Hi that had promise in football and Chemical Process/BJ gave Homer Bleeker a better paying job in Breckenridge and his son got to HS and set on the bench as he did not pan out in HS.

Sorry, but I don't think there is a HSFB coach in Texas dumb enough to do this and very, very few areas where there is enough money to offer families 'free housing'. lol

Private schools are very attractive in California, particularly in areas that have issues with the schools and where the wealthy zip codes defer and send their kids to the privates vs the public schools by default. And for the most part they dominate their version of the UIL as well which make them attractive to some who are on the lower to middle part of the economic ladder. And I'm sure they have scholarships available at many of these schools which help that demographic thanks to the tuition they can charge to the wealthy who send their kids to these schools and in turn have wealthy alums who continue to give to the schools kind of like they give to their colleges they attended. That movie about De La Salle High school kind of put a face on how it goes in California.

The point I already thoroughly made is as an administrator it is your job to prevent athletes from leaving your school and keeping your program strong. Geez I see that went WAY OVER your head. Thanks for continuing to miss such an easy point to read.
