One good coach is as good as having 5 bluechip players. Example Ennis and Coach Sam Harrell who took Aledo to overtime with all Aledo talent in his first year back at Ennis. Keep an eye on LLANO who went down a div. Rouse may be better and they have a former Cedar Park coach who coached the WF Coyotes with a very good HC. I,m watching Coach Darren Alman trying to revive Nacogdoches. I'm familiar with the Llano coach. He may do well in a smaller division. He was a great varsity coordinator at Lake Travis, however, he struggled with a full 7-12 program at Lovejoy and Marble Falls. He made some changes that created a bigger workload and eventually set the S&C program back significantly. It will be interesting to see what he has learned from those mistakes and changes he has implemented into a smaller program. I think he is a great coach, just too eager and may have bitten off more than he could chew on the S&C side, especially the lower levels.

A true statement. But I mean it's cool with me. I know these posters know the ins and outs that's why this whole spectacle is hilarious. Yes indeed And you continue to lead the circus yet cannot see it with all your rhetoric. Like the coaches don't talk to the parents. Lmao!

"I know you want this info but you aren't gonna get it."- Then why mention you have evidence of recruiting in the first place? "So how about you shut up and quit asking!"- For evidence? Thats the only thing that can verify your claim. "I'm sure you can get some info easily let's not act like I'm your only source."- To be a source you have to provide evidence. Which you have not. "Very rich coming from a school with money like Aledo!"- Why are you deflecting? "I'm not surprised."- Nate Diaz "Lol."- You're just trolling now. Yup Yup Yup yup Yup!
Or Just looking for attention I think....or a shoulder to cry on about how badly poor little Southside HS is being treated on after their recent success of making the playoffs and then winning a playoff game. it is fact. The Southside area of SA gets no coverage and the more you laugh only drives me to fight more for the entire area. Laugh, laugh, laugh that's what they been doing to this whole area for years. NOT ANYMORE.

NOT ANYMORE. Seriously man, wake up. SS is definitely getting better and competing but don't make it sound like you are the big boys on the block. SS is 207-455-14 since 1952 overall, 1-9 in the playoffs, and has won literally 2 district championships in these almost 70 years. With past records like that why would you expect more media coverage than what any average team would get? Go out there and win big...make a run at least a regional title and I bet you might get a little more press time.

There is another wrinkle. If one of the parents teaches at a school out of the district where they live, they can go to the school where the parent teaches. A player can live in the Taft Dist. and if mom teaches at GP, that player can go to GP. That is more of a district policy than a UIL rule. If the school allows it, then the UIL allows it. Some districts do not allow teachers children to attend the district where the teacher is employed. I was told, but I never verified, some districts allow Admin only and others allow Admin/Teachers. A lot of schools allow any district employee from Admin, teaching, janitorial/maintenance and cafeteria staff. For every student enrolled, whether in-district resident, open-enrollment/tuition, or student of an employee the school gets state funding for that student.

My kiddos go to school in the same district my wife teaches in. We're debating on her having my son in her class next year. Leaning more toward it. There are no issues with this where she works.

She simply didn't want to teach them but hand selected each of their teachers every year from K - 4th grade at her school. She has taught and continues to many, many of the other teachers at her school kids.
