Especially in August and September! lmao After my dad retired he was at every Football and Basketball practice my junior and senior year. After one football afternoon practice during two-a-days... He said he got HOT watching from the stands. He was picking on me and all I could do was shake my head.

I have been Very Fortunate. I was able to Watch 3 Sons play Football at Gp. Extremely Enjoyable and Exciting Times! and Now have a Son who has been AD/HC for 9 Years ( currently 6 Years at Rockport). This coming Year (2020 Season) I am Exited to be able to Watch my Son Coach his Incoming Freshman Son and my Grandson. It Doesn’t Get any Better!!!

These 3 sons read like the New testament ,Mark,Luke and John(Jay) not necessarily born in that order. Seems like Luke Quinn Seibert was also in track and one of my off spring was asking about him and none of them were close to his age. He was the baby.

Over the Years Gp has had Excellent Running Backs!

Actually there is 4 generations of John Henry Seibert and then William Gus John Seibert who married Lydia Emilie Schmidt and then John Seibert who married Martha Louise Gronle. That is 6 generations of Johns.

Football Players from Gp and Rockport got together late Sunday afternoon at Portland Sports Complex to play 7 on 7. The Players put the game together on their own. There were No High School Coaches, No Parent Coaches and No Referees. It looked like the young men were just excited to get together and play some football. There were No Fights and Plenty of Good Sportsmanship. It was Good to See and Fun to Watch.

Heaven forbid letting players use their own brains. We did that when I was growing up and they called it sandlot football. There was a boulevard down the middle of the street and the curb was sidelines. When I was smaller, I would watch the big kids play football on Sunday's. Many of those guys went on and played HS football and then in college.

Kid went hard every second. My wife didn’t think it was fair that they allowed him to be gang tackled. She thought only one at a time should be allowed to tackle him. 😁

They were so good I took notes. LOL
