G-P Freshmen 14 El Campo 0, final El Campo JV 13 G-P JV 6, final
G-P Freshmen looked very good. Should have scored 2-3 TDs more. Really dominated El Campo! Not a lot of offense for either JV team.

CPHS JV1 46 - 12 ? Win over Austin Westlake CPHS JV2 16 -20 Loss to Austin Westlake wow JV 1 is strong!! That's great especially with all the new coaches really says something and JV 2 will get it clicking Westlake is 6a which means more depth so some JV 2 players could be JV 1 players if you're catching my drift. That's awesome though

That's great especially with all the new coaches really says something and JV 2 will get it clicking Westlake is 6a which means more depth so some JV 2 players could be JV 1 players if you're catching my drift. That's awesome though Westlake had almost double the amount of players on JV2 than we had. Our JV2 defense caused 5 turnovers and stopped the run cold. The LBs and DLine did great. The secondary needs help. You are right they will come together. We scored on a long run and a pass. We had difficulty marching down the field. Different QB than we had in Fresh Silver. This one does not have the wheels or the inclination to run like Welch does. Westlake had the ball in our red zone with 1:30 left in the game and their coach kept on passing and we intercepted. We drove to their 35 and our Qb could not get a pass off. We lost last year to them by 1 td too in the final seconds of the game.
