Hey, do any of you CB guys know if Ingleside has a new staff?
I'm asking because there was a group of 4 of them at our practice Monday in the stands with clip boards taking notes.
I've never seen another high schools staff at a spring practice before and thought it was interesting to see and that maybe they were a new staff or something.

Been some postings after last season they were changing their offensive scheme.

I suspect one of the coaches on the staff must know our head coach pretty well and set it up because when they were leaving I saw our HC wave to them as they were walking off.

Consider it an honor, as they were watching the way things are being run, ie practice schedule, drills. I would surmise they got film too.

Yeah, I figured they were trying to pick up pieces and different ideas on how to run their practices. I am sure he did release some hudl video to them as well. They film the entire practice and it is loaded within an hour or two of ending. I can watch the 4th period workouts shortly after lunch each day if I want to. Gotta love technology!

Yeah Ingleside is changing their offense and I hate it..... Ingleside is built to spread you out and beat you with our athletes both on the ground and through the air.....we would put up points in bunches..... This past season we were one dimensional running the ball it was easy for teams to game plan against us. By the 4th or 5th game we were figured out and easy to stop. It was a very disappointing season under that new offense and I hear we are going to the slot-t which is gonna be even more disappointing. We just had a about the worst season since Hesseltine has been there. Even though it was a one and done playoff season.
So what kind of offensesive scheme does steele run? I know they are a power house team each and every year, I just don't think we can line up and run it down anyone's throat. Even though our line is getting bigger these next few seasons. Wish we could go back to what we do well, Throw the ball and play the run off of that.

I find it idiotic to scout Steele's schemes. Steele wins because they're loaded, not because of their offensive scheme.

You had a running back playing the Qb position so you naturally ran it with him all the time. You didn't change the offense. You still ran the Spread.

More jokes from another, "I have first hand knowledge my team recruits", guilty conscious poster.

No Hesseltine is still there, he trying a new offense cause his line is getting bigger I guess, but it's not working.

Jalen was better left at running back and using the back up as a starter he was coming off an awesome 7on7 season beating out Jalen this past season in 7on7 and Hesseltine went with jalen for the season. If we would have stayed in the spread and used jalen as a RB we would have been more successful..... I expect us to have another down season if we are gonna line up and run the ball. Jalen was an awesome RB and would have served us better in that position last season. We have the back up QB as the projected starter but we just got a new kid last month he's a 6-3 sophomore QB that came from Georgia. Big thick kid looks like he could be a nice TE. Hopefully he will still be around when football season starts.

I know 7on7 don't mean a whole lot but he built up a good connection with his receivers.

I know 7on7 don't mean a whole lot but he built up a good connection with his receivers. I think you have your offenses mixed up. I seriously doubt he's switching to Slot-t from the Spread. Did you go to the Alice/Ingleside scrimmage? Slot-t is what Alice runs. Rockport runs it as well.
