Looks like it's gonna be a hurricane and it's gonna hit just south of Corpus Friday night around midnight. Bring on the rain! It's moving at 15 mph...428 miles to CC. I thought they say less then 10% chance of it strengthening to a cat 1 hurricane?

SOB
Looks like it is headed well south of CC and the projected path has it going almost due west across TX. Looks like less of a chance of rain for us now!

Looks like no hurricane...winds will top at high 60's maybe up to 70. I'm an optimist about the projected path though and there is one model that sends it right up through Duval County! I'm hanging my hat on that one.

I just double checked and the total I've had this year is 5.65". That is as bad as I can ever remember.

Next disturbance is out in the south Atlantic. Those storms that come off the coast of Africa have the potential to be very powerful. I'm guessing the storms woill start coming pretty regularly now.
BTW, I saw a bunch of cotton picking machinery on the road yesterday. I bet the cotton farmers are humping to get it all picked before tonite. All the fields I pass on my way to work along HW 35 have been picked. Hope they get it all in before the rains come.

Brett came in just south last storm and did damage up and down the cut. Then again we're only talking about plywood palaces.

Looks as if no one north of Rockport will get any rain out of this thing! Ouch it's gonna stay really hot and really dry for 2-a-days.

Told you girls this one was not going to be a big deal. I don't make weather watching a hobby of mine for nothing. I'll tell you gals in the future when to worry, especially you all in the Bluff so you can get the double wides secure and make sure the 1976 F-150's have enough gas. Same for you CPA so you can plan your looting spree.....
