Hi all,
The enrollments in Dist. 25 4a go like this: Leander, Leander Rouse, Vista Ridge, Cedar Park, Vandegrift, Dripping Springs, & Marble Falls. Vista Ridge will surpass Ceder Park this year in enrollment, so for Cedar Park to be DI it would take two of those first three teams to fall and not make the playoffs. That's a tall order! I see maybe one imploding or cutting it close in making the playoffs, but not two of them.
I see CP with a target on their back this year especially within their District. Once in the playoffs it will determine who is peaking and what teams are limping in due to injuries. I agree with several postings that someone from District 25, 27, or 30 should be the favorites vying for the Region IV DII crown.

Enrollment numbers this past year, or this year won't make a hill of beans difference. The only numbers that count are the ones in the UIL data base from the counts gathered for the last realignment. Now, when the do the counts this year that will be used for the next realignment as well as playoff placing (D1/D2) for the following two years.

So, as it stands now CP has 1/2 kid more than CPVR. Therefore, CP goes Div I if one of the Leander schools misses the playoffs.

Oh, Football season? Time to wake up then! Gotcha clemensbuff... I thought the enrollments were every year even though the alignments were every two. So with that said, either Leander or Leander Rouse has to drop the ball as was previously stated. Should be a fun year to watch in District 25 4a!

When you put "$10, 000" it already means "grand". You don't also have to put "grand" after it. Lol at least you spelled "grand" correctly. Is it on or not??? I would be happy to hold the stakes. And my favorite charity is ole GP #28 college fund........

Leander will be better on offense and not as good on defense based on Bridges' past work, but he has made a 5a finals and semis at two different schools, so he is a good coach.

Leander will be a good team this year with a lot of talent returning on the defense. The running back will be a force to deal with as well. The coach that went to Leander from CP, was the quarterbacks coach and had previously been the OC at Stony Point in Round Rock, he will help their quarterback who is talented. 25-4a will be a battle each week, with several teams fighting for the available playoff spots. The good STP OC just returned from Northshore, so what Leander got is not super special, but ok.

Thank's TWolvesFan. Good to see you on the board again. Tivy's defense will have to carry us for awhile,we are already banged up on offense. My son went down today could be out until district. And we had some other receivers get banged up.
