like i said DBAG.....but your right back to football... enough or the name calling. you can state your point wthout calling anybody a dbag, repeatedly. Your right on king!! I'm on your side. It's people who do nothing who condone it. It's only going to get worse if nothing is ever done or said.

The mayor of Philadelphia and Bill Cosby have said what you said. And boy did they get some on coming fire from people who they thought were their friends. I like how you used black folks as your example....how exactly do you dress or talk like a thug.....who decided that was thug dress and talk.... you see thats the thing.... Back up the truck there. Just noting what others have said about how to get respect. And yes appearance is a good part of it. Seems like the topic at hand has struck a nerve???

I agree with the first post but having Siffy or fill in the blank Calallen poster and GPJohn or fill in the blank GP poster agreeing on anything is sickening. Stop it! See the ramifications of no longer being rivals! I can just feel the love. Group hug? And no we don't want to suddenly take warm showers together. At least I don't. Can't speak for GP John. LOL. Just watched Heartbreak Ridge the other night!

Perception is reality! That's the society we live in. Fair or unfair, that's the norm.

Been away from the board for the offseason but it's good to see that the off topic, saving the world, ending world hunger chatter with the "you've got that loving feeling" undertone between GP,Calhoun and Calallen (go figure)is still in vogue.

You sir have no basis to lob such nonsense towards me. YOUare the one suggesting I made this racial which is the furthest thing from my intent. I simply posted what two men said about how people get more respect from others and in particular those who are suspicious already about their appearance. You no doubt do not understand the word CONTEXT!!!!! Had some "red neck" said that about people from the Hills of West Virginia and Kentucky about the appearance of folks from Appalachia, then it would be just as applicable and it wouldn't bother me . Heck I scolded my own Mexican American Kids for dressing inappropriately (shirt tails out when in a situation they need to be in, wearing t-shirts to place where a collar shirt needs to be worn, flip flops, etc.) for the very same reasons Mayor Nutter and Bill Cosby noted in their views. To gain respect, you have to at the VERY least look respectable and like you care about yourself. Get a clue pal!

Again folks, No race, no religion and no politics. Check the rules you agreed to. Sorry FB Fan, but this guy crossed the line with me. The last thing I am is a racist as this clown is insinuating by just providing a quote in the context of the subject at hand. I don't care if the Mayor or Bill Cosby was saying that about white, black or green people. It applies just the same to all. Then this guy somehow singles it out that the reason I picked this quote is because it was directed towards blacks. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but just can't.
