He is a stud. He is a great kid. He should be praised. 2300+ yards is amazing.

I believe Dave Cambells summer edition dropped the ball on not putting Bisby in the top 300 list. He is a heck of player and should get another 2000 + yards this season he should be bigger and stronger this year he has my respect......

I know many D1 offers have been offered. Houston, Texas Tech, to name a few. He wants to be an Aggie. We will see. Tech is a passing school. Houston offensive coordinator has came to many practices in the past.

Williams isn't to shabby either! Cory can get some moves and lateral movement he will be better than he already is. Kid is a stud.

I think they should give bisby the ball every snap. Bisby invented sliced bread.

Bisby has the same thing working against him as that kid from San Diego last season. Their forte is they run over people. The problem is they run over people in districts that don't have much defensive size. So there is a big question mark as to how that would translate to a major college.

G.P. did have a decent offensive line last season, but most of those kids graduated. It will be interesting to see how Bisby does against some of the better defenses in the coastal bend.

Bisby does lack speed however I think what is even more important is how he develops his quickness. He needs to show the ability to make someone miss in the hole or in the open field. If he can do that you will see the offers increase. The level of talent will probably hinder the amount of d1 looks he gets... I remember guys such as Connel Davis, Tommy Blake, and many others who didn't get a lot of D1 looks at running back not based on their talent but due to the fact the played in south texas and didn't prove it in the dfw or Houston... GP fans he reminds me of Devin Bisby from Pflugerville Connaly who ran all over us.

Both are very, very good backs. I've only had the chance to see Bisby play and a little vid on C Williams.
Bisby is a strong kid that is a bull between the tackles. He does not have breakaway speed but is certainly not slow by any means.
If either are both are D1 caliber players, the offers will come. It doesn't matter where you are playing ball at or even what size school these days, very few D1 talented players slip through the cracks. Of course they must have the support of their head coach as well to talk to college coaches!

I don't know a kid in the state who wants to tackle that. I don't think anyone can tackle him one on one. Prove me wrong!

But, I'd imagine there's more than one LB and D-lineman out there in TXHSFB that wouldn't shy away from taking him on.........one on one.

One on One. I sat on PLC side with crr. That was a "Clash of Titans" for sure!

Whomever said Williams would be better served going JUCO is behind the 8 ball.
First and formost. Cory is being recruited as an athlete. Why? Because he's started since his freshman season . He's played CB. Lb. FS DE. FB TB. He can kick ofg and kick extra points. Heck the kid will prolly fill the water jugs if he's asked.
He has the frame of a D1 linebacker that's fast enougj to play safety on the D1 level. His ticket is not at RB altho some schools would give him that shot.
Cory has worked hard to maintain his grades as well. So juco would be a terrible idea for that kid and is in fact not even in the realm of possiblities. Assuming he stays healthy he has a full ride coming from an FBS school
