Name the Texas quarterbacks that have been inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame, and where they played football. Sammy Baugh (Temple/Sweetwater), Bobby Layne (Highland Park) and Y.A. Tittle (Marshall) Correct... Did any of them play in a State Title game?

Who were the last 4 teams to beat Laredo United? I asked this for the Valley but none wanted to answer lol. Its my little comeback haha. Eagle Pass 26-25 Del Rio 36-26 Alexander 35-23 Sharyland 72-30 I meant the Coastal Bend.

Looks like Sweetwater made the quarterfinals in '32, which (if I'm not mistaken) would have been Baugh's senior year. HP made the semis in 1943 (as mentioned above, Doak Walker was on that team too), and Tittle never got out of the bi-district round at Marshall.

In the spirit of this discussion, how about some more contemporary Texas HS players who could make the Hall of Fame someday?
Drew Brees (Austin Westlake): 1995 quarters, 1996 champs LaDainian Tomlinson (Waco University): 1996 quarters Alan Faneca (Rosenberg Lamar): 1991 regionals (?), 1993 regionals Michael Strahan (Houston Westbury): no playoffs Zach Thomas (White Deer/Pampa): 1988 champs, 1990 bi-district, 1991 quarters Adrian Peterson (Palestine): 2002 area, 2003 bi-district

Nine Heisman Trophy winners played high school football in Texas.
Name them, and the high school they played at. (Obviously some have been previously brought up in this thread.)
