Oh....so you are eluding to a comparrison of outcomes vs Carrol leads to strength comparrison between PLC/FB? I say PLC +28 vs. Carrol. FB + 27 vs Carrol = PLC +60 vs Alice I expect FB to win but Andrus will not have his "starting" team settled yet by that non district game. The positions competitions will still be going on. He never does by the second game so predicting a point margin is unwise to say the least. By the third game against Calallen you can be pretty sure he will have the depth chart set barring injury. PLC 41 Carrol 9 FB 22 Carrol 14 I agree with the positions not being settled by the 2nd game of the season....That goes for Carrol, as well. In reality, comparing High school teams to each other by using common oponents is only an educated guess. At this level, some teams match-up to others better. It's hard to explain and may have a lot more to do with being "UP" for a game. Underdogs seem to play better when the LT's & CP's are breathing down their necks.

For shits n gigs. What were the scores from last seasons games? The ends justifies the means. And in the end last year Flour Bluff was in the 4th Round 4A Division 1 Region 4 Championship (State Quarter Finals), while PLC was out in the 2nd Round. Yea, and sometimes the end is dictated by things like injuries and having limited amount of talent to backfill, just to name a few.

Injuries killed FB a couple of years back. 8 starters at once. It was ugly.

In 2011 we had 8 starters out. Flour Bluff still managed to make the playoffs and beat GP in the 2nd Round to face eventual State Champion LT in the 3rd Round.

pushing 1500 lbs of beefaloes on the OL.... If Morgan Molina is playing this year, we should be really, really good on OL. Brian T, Morgan, Rios, Jensen, and Limon. I can really see Jensen playing center. He did so quite a bit last year.

I can really see Jensen playing center. He did so quite a bit last year. If those were the starters, it would go like this in weights: 295, 305, 295, 290 & 310. 5 pounds shy of 1500. Man those are some big kids. And with Brian T. Being the shortest at 6'1", they aren't just short round guys.
