Personally. I'd like to avoid them. Not because I don't think we can beat them. But because those guys are physical as well. The winner advances but as we all known. Beat to hell body wise.
Its been a great series thus far
Ill never forget when they went up 21-0 on the crabs. And Xavier. James Ezzel (who had a monsterous game that night) and Jones brought the boys back and whipped EE.
TThat big tangunam** boy lost his cool. And lost his ability to play up to his potential that night

Not because I think we would lose to EE, I just like to see different compitition.

One of these newcomers is a 3-Star Rivals.com recruit as an OG. I am sure he is going to be one of the best lineman that has come through PLC. The other is being recruited by UTSA and others as a C/OL, so he too will be very good and have the ability to play any where on the line. And, Brian T. as we all know is big and strong as an ox. So, I think we'll be good on the OL this year. I worry more about the DL. With all 3 of these guys being able to go both ways, I could see some mix and matching going on according to the situation. Could you imagine DJ(Devyn Jensen), BudaBoy, and Brian T on the DL? Then add in Wehmeyer, Blinka and Cory Williams at LB (need one more LB, maybe Colton K?). And then throw in Richard and Lee at the Safety positions and Mauro and Omri at the CB positions. Now that is a defense there. I completely agree with you, although I wish we had the manpower to limit the both way play. I think that is the difference between the teams that bmove on and the ones who make 2-3 rounds.

If so where ? Do you think the lack of pass pro hurts then in the recruiting process, especially with the proliferation of the spread O in college

To my knowledge most, if not all, of our past lineman have been home grown. Also, the 2 coming in moved here due to
1) dad investing in the area and having to commute 2 hours to see his son play ball the last 2 years. 2) dad not having work and moving to area to put food on the table.
Some use recruiting in the place of legit transfers.
If you are a school in this area and are not getting transfers now, you really need to look at why. There is so much work here and everyone is hiring. If none of these players want to move in your town, ask yourself why.

I meant college recruiting, have allot of crab Lman been recruited by Colleges or has there lack of pass pro effected them?

We had one years back being recruited by UTSA and some others but he didn't have college aspirations and also had a torn up knee. Dwayne Lewis went to Kilgore then some school in arkansas. Few went to lon morris. One to blinn. None stayed exceot Lewis. Other then that we haven't had a legit D1 lineman come thru here in a very long time. I say legit in terms. Of height and weight. They like em atleast 6'4" and up

Not necessarly. Schools like Rice. UTEP. LA tech. UtSA and those types will take a shot On a kid that's just big and plays. They figure they can coach them up when they get there. Floresville had a lineman years ago that was jist BIG but not a dominate high school football player. OK ST. took a shot on him. He ended up starting for them eventually and being pretty good. You can't coach 6'4"-6'5"

It's been discussed, but a very good source says that the Limon kid will be a Crab. His dad does have employment secured and the family is here.
But still just rumors until we see him in Black and Gold. This kid is a 3-star lineman according to Rivals.com, so he should help out our cause a bit!
