Sad. The players did not call the illegal practices. What were they supposed to do? The adults calling the shots are the guilty here. Agree 100%.

So is this the final outcome for E-E or will they have an appeal? When will the Appeal happen?

they will go before the UIL on Oct 31st Do they think they have a better than 50/50 shot at overturing it? the consensus among the EE faithful is that the punishment was too harsh, at this point they are not denying it anymore, just that the punishment doesnt fit the crime.... 16 hours of practice in a 8 hour rule is complete disregard for the rule....the other thing which is why i think the DEC came down hard on them was Coach Solis matter of factly denied it during the hearing... who knows with the UIL.....their rulings tend to be all over the place and just a few years ago EE won up there.... there is also the issue of EE using a EE employee as the coach of the 7on7 team which was sent up the chain to the UIL as well... if they consider them separately then I think EE has a chance....i still think they will come down hard on Coach Solis but probably spare the kids....but with the UIL...you just never know....

I feel that EE needs to learn from their mistakes. It seams like every year they are going up in front of UIL. I also feel that the E-E schools should look into punishment of a coaching change. The Kids are the ones that suffer from the coaches cheating. A message needs to be sent out to the kids that its wrong to cheat and doing the right thing is what needs to happen.

He doesn't only have a son playing for the team but also has a nephew that is playing as well. #9 and #6
He did it for his son and nephew and the kids as well. Some kept coming home complaining they were too tired and also were doing bad in class.

Maybe if coach Solis would be doing everything by the book then EE would not be coming out year in year out in the news about some illegal stuff.
