This year however, especially in class 4A, I just do not see any Laredo team being a threat to get past bi-district, without significant improvement and if they can even earn a trip to the playoffs.

Roma (32-4A) is the only one that has a possible chance so far. But we will see after three more weeks of District games. EE has shown nothing yet and has some serious issues that will be a distractor.

The play calling seems very conservative we dont take any shots downfield only like 2 or 3 times combined in the 1st 2 games. Im suprised by that as Nixon always chunks it up. I guess cause of the new QB this year they gotta let him loose his got potential. We should have Blown out both Eagle Pass schools Nixon is way better than that the Offense is sputtering right now hopefully with Zapata & Cigarroa next the O gets some confidence and get it rolling cause the weapons are their. But even the way the offense is playing right now I can honestly say Nixon is still better right now than Miller, Moody, Martin & Cigarroa right now.

But as I said earlier offense has been sputtering.

Yea 45-14. Offense still needs some work but with Cigarroa next the offense will click some more. It was 45-7 and starters were pulled with 7 minutes left in the 3rd Qtr.
