Travis Geiser pitched, he is our number 5. then in relief was blake lowry he is our 6th man. There was a 3, 3rd stringers on the field this game. Will be a munch different ball game! 3 kids that were 3rd string??? Max Preps only shows you having 16 kids on the roster...now that's some creative math...might get you to help me with my trailing 12 month EBITDA. We had 3 starters in that game that are now subs so our team has a little different look as well. Y'all actually did well with your 5th and 6th pitchers pitching in that game...it was only 2-0 until the bottom of the 5th when we broke it open. Again, it was early in the season and the pitchers always have the advantage then. It will be interesting to see who pitches on Thursday and Friday and especially on Saturday if it goes that far. We have had 4 guys in the rotation as of late, but might use our #5 guy if we can. He pitched a great complete game against New Braunfels Canyon getting the win with an ERA of 0.00. Did GP play Canyon in our tournament? They swept their bi-district foe last week and are playing Vista Ridge this week. Will GP pitch Polasek at FB in the first game or save him for game 2 at home? Will FB go with Mendiola at home and pitch Carter on the road for game 2? Will Gonzalez be used in his usual closer role or will he be kept for game 3 if needed? Will Humpal and Mims see the mound? Quien sabe....Thursday better hurry up and get here. max preps also shows 2 players that arent even on the team anymore.. oh and they just happen to be 2 of those 3 i was talking about. if they save polasek for game 2 who will throw gme one? there is so many questions that i cant wait till thursday to be answered! and ill take that bet only if JD takes it with me.

LOL. JD will bet you if the sun is coming up on time tomorrow but he's gonna want points. Actually, we did a signature bet once before. In football with the RGV guys. A certain school northwest of CC laid an egg in their season opener and we had this hideous signature to carry around for a month. It was worse for them but no pleasure for the other CB guys who joined in on the bet. You better believe the RGV guys showed up daily to take inventory if everyone kept that signature on their posts. We would need someone to do the art work and that aint me. LOL

Game one day! Now keeping an eye on some threatening looking weather on the radar. We need the rain but sure would be nice if it didn't arrive until after the game.

Saw some pictures of San Antonio, wow. A buddy of mine posted some nasty looking funnel clouds over downtown. I know you guys need the rain, but not the destruction that 'Bama received.

Just some thunderstorms; no tornadoes around here, but it was pitch black a couple of hours ago. It's pretty much done now, though. Corpus might get in on the action in an hour or so.

That's good. I'm going with Bluff in this one. They've seen some great comp in district, I think that type of competition goes a long way. Though, if their bats go cold, GP could easily steal a couple with some opportunistic play.

Is this storm headed to C.C.? Yep! Should be over and done with before the games tonight down here. Hopefully they got the Hefty trashbags out to cover the mound at the Bluff!

Watching the Nat Weather Service Radar and looks like it should get to Flour Bluff in about 2 hours or around 15 until 2 if it keeps the same rate of travel.

My little sister said she was pelted with hail on the way to work at Barton Creek Mall in Austin. She lives southeast in Buda.
