Some very good looking talent here for sure. Looks to be a good year for you guys.dz/quote] Hopefully we will, the defense looks great bu we'll see how good they really are when they go up against Calhoun during the scrimmage. Last year Calhoun ran all over Northbrook but this years defense should hold the Calhoun Offense. Hopefully yall give them a look, past few years they whipped yall guys pretty bad. Kinda seems like a long drive for a scrimmage. But looks like yall have the talent amd size to win some games this year. Did yall win any last season?

The past 2 seasons the team was filled with Sophomores and Juniors. The Class of 2013 should be set to go after having 2 varsity seasons under their belt. After the Class of 2009 at Northbrook the Raiders lost a lot of Talent and weren't able to contend with Calhoun, this Senior Class should give Calhoun a better look.

The Rod Ryan morning show always.talks about yall on the radio I forgot that Northbrook is unofficial official football team of the Rod Ryan Show. I've heard him talk about Northbrook but I didn't think he would still talk about us.

22-4A looks to be in favor of Northbrook in terms of likelyhood of making the playoffs. The Raiders should start off 3-0 after playing Milby, Houston M&T, and Pasadena Rayburn, the first district game will be against Wilowridge whom I feel the Raiders are more than capable of beating to start the season off 4-0. 2nd District game vs Tomball will test the Raiders off very well.

Clem...I was talking to my son and Mims last night about Steele's receiver, Mayles. They said he made every DB look silly at the Texas State camp. They said the coaxes were in awe of his talent.

Kid can flat out play JD Mathew Mayle is a good one JD. He is a competitor in every since of the word. He is the kid that caught the deep ball inside the 5 in the 2010 SC Game to set up our first score as a soph and then last year scored our only two TDs in the beatdown we took from Dekaney in that title game. He is a legit 4.4 guy that separates from DBs with ease and looks even faster on the field. He runs very good routes and has tremendous hands and will go up and get anything thrown. No doubt he has a chance to be a major D1 slot guy much like Ryan Swope was at A&M these past couple years. He is probably about 5'11 and 185 or so and is very solid and spends a lot of time working out. He was listed at 5'10 170 last year and there is no doubt he's bigger than that now from what I saw of him at the spring game. I asked his dad and he said he was about 185 or so. We have a couple of other good ones that will line up at WR and take some of the double teams off of him this year or face getting burned bad by them as well. One kid is Thadeus Thompson who is probably 6' and 200-210 and very, very physical with good wheels.

I have just been told that these are only the kids that were on the playoff roster last year. The ones being moved up from JV to Varsity next year are not on this roster list. The big additions, IMO, will be the lineman we'll be getting. Brian T and others. Brian has got big and strong he will be a junior next year i1122.photobucket.com/albums/l530/saltydog6/4f0ce6aa57c32_image.jpgCan we get some dimensions on Brian? I'm thinking 6'0" 275 ish.

Watching Jamal Pradia play 7 on 7 and talking to him and seeing his enthusiasm and intelligence for the game and his great natural athletic ability, I think he will definitely be an impact player for Flour Bluff this year. He ran the 200 at the state track meet and was part of the relay teams that had great success this year. He will be a 3 year starter and should see time on both sides of the ball.

Who else besides him and Mims will be the players that step up this year at FB? What other Srs, what Jrs, and are there any special sophomores you know of that will be 'difference makers' this season? And don't hold back about listing your son because I know he's going to do well, really well!
