My youngest 3 year old had his Birthday party on Saturday and he is starting T-Ball. His big sister is finishing track meets with the next one at Cabiniss and starting 14 U softball. In Portland. She is Shot put and Discus in track and plays basketball and is 8th grade band. My 3 base ballers from Katy came for spring break. I will make Banaa pudding for the family Easter egg hunt in Portland and the pool will be heated and if I wear my black bathing suit they want have to go to SanAntonio to see Shamu. That's great with the great grands. And that was a good one lol

One of your assistants is gone. He just took the Head Coach job at Bangs. I had never heard that name before. Coach Colton Buzzard played QB for his dad at Coleman and I wondered why he did not coach quarterbacks at GP. “Bangs I.S.D. has hired Coach Colton Buzzard as its next Athletic Director/Head Football coach. Coach Buzzard comes to Bangs from South Texas powerhouse program Gregory-Portland. Coach Buzzard is not a stranger to the Big Country as he grew up in the area and also coached at San Angelo Central under Coach Brent Davis.” Buzzard is a 2009 graduate of Coleman High School and played baseball at Howard Payne University. He replaces Jason Cole, who was reassigned earlier this semester after one year as head football coach and athletic director. This story will be updated later with additional information. Bangs is in the Brownwood area.

Dragging tires is cheap. Running With a parachute is more efficient. GP should be able to afford a parachute.

My research shows pros and cons and one shows parachutes does not increase speed. Some recommend leg weights. Some recommend band resistance. About any of above might help dragging tacklers extra yards but you will also have them trying to make you fumble.

Wait for it. It’s because last years team was a bunch of Sophmores and Juniors. You say that every year too.

King said nothing about Soph & Jrs, only non GP posters have said for years. Clem, where did King say GP is working harder than other teams? All he said is the boys are putting in the work to improve and weight lifting records are proving it. I have no problem with some folks not being fans of GP. But on cue multiple attacks every time someone says anything positive about GP just shows a lack character, Try Harder, your better than that.

Nobody is left behind at GP. No they are not being left behind nor should they be. I drove by a couple days ago to take a look at the new Early Childhood development center. It is just about finished and it is a very nice looking facility that was built on the same site as the original Welder Elementary school. I notice that the school has no windows except the front entry to the school which I’m told has 1/2” thick bulletproof glass. It’s more than obvious that the safety of our students always comes first, just like every school in the state.
