This community lost a long time member that I believe goes back to the Caller-Times days. I got to know David more as my wife is a close friend with his family. A few months ago before his health took a more serious turn we had a long conversation about football and this website in my living room. David was a passionate fan of his Hornets and will be sorely missed.
RIP David βOCCNHβ

I've known David's family back to when I was small. His sister was the lifeguard during several summers when I was young and his dad taught at Calallen High school for years and years. He was such a passionate football fan and will be missed. Sending prayers to Kathy, Joan, Richard and his entire family during this difficult time. Fly high OCCNH!

I remember when he lost his password and had to come out with a new handle. He was oil field like me and gave me on PM his opinion of GP talent back when many GP posters were viewing the talent with Rose Colored glasses. We discussed his health issues and I thought he was improving. Sorry for his loss. I was hoping to meet with him over there sometime when one of my great grand kids was playing over there. We had PM a lot and this is kind of hard to take. He seemed like a pretty nice guy.

As most know David and I were close friends for years. We traveled together for years to Flour Bluff mainly but some other games also joined in the early years by Johnny Duval and our wives. These last games were only home games as it was all he could do to climb a few stairs and then watching the online streaming here at my house in the end. I can't tell you how I will miss this cherished friend and I'm not ashamed of my tears. I'm only happy I hugged him and told him I loved him as he did me the last time we were together.
RIP occnh I'll see you again save me a seat.

Oh man I'm so sorry to hear this. I never had the privilege of meeting him in person, but we exchanged a lot of pm's.
My condolences go out to his family and all of you who knew him.
RIP OCCNH.

I was over at FB Adkins Middle School watching GP play Adkins Middle School in a tournament and will be back Saturday for the finals. Flour Bluff has a really good team and GP May have to face them. Life goes on. I have great grandson in 2 games in Portland Sat. Great grand daughter in 2 games at Adkins that eve. Tough keeping up at 86 years old. This is my first time being this old. I did not get to practice.
