Sinfan75 haven't seen Aidan Lozano play in cf or pitch so far this year and didn't see Marco Gonzales start against Flour Bluff, are they injured? This years team seems to have some depth! What, last years team didn't have depth. Yall had about 7 pitchers. GTFOH with this BS. They're 11 pitchers deep this season....and the lineup is about the same like lasr year's team. 10 run rule last 12 opponents outscoring them 151-3. So for now they're looking like this year's team has alot more depth as a team.

Blake Mitchell has started at pitcher only once this year and a couple times in relief which has me thinking, unless he pitches in one of the next 4 games, they may not use him at all in the playoffs except maybe in relief.

Seem most of the 11 pitchers that have pitched in a game this season and if it wasn't for the solid 4 starters and not including Blake Mitchell right now but he will be used if needed but for now I'm hearing just catching and SS and spot relief to close games but there hasn't been no close games since Dripping Springs game when he came in to close it out for the save. Nothing wrong just isn't needed. Those other pitchers will get their chance next season. Jmo but I'm really high on Reyes kid I think he'll be ready to step in next season with Moody and Thomas. Lets hope for series in playoffs.

I'm one of the many that believe all playoff rounds should be best of 3 series, and the state tournament double elimination.

Agree 100%. a team that is being told Sinton will run rule them in 5 innings won't have anything to lose it a one and done. If they are close or unexpectedly ahead late in the game Sinton could be in trouble. They have not faced any real adversity for the last two seasons and the playoffs are a different animal. Sinton will and should be very confident during the playoff run. and the first couple rounds of the playoffs will be a cakewalk.

Sinton 10 Ingleside 1

The game actually went 7 innings. Rob Thomas got off to a shaky start in the 1st allowing 1 run and 3 hits. After that he settled in and only allowed 1 more hit until he was relieved in the 7th. the game was tied at 1 for the first 4 innings and then the Pirate bats came alive in the 5th and 6th innings scoring 9 more runs. Sinton's record mow 11-0 in district and 26-1 on the year.

Well Sinton's been in the playoffs enough throughout their history I think they know what to expect. And usually teams that are really good rarely face a lot of adversity during a season anyway. I think the players know that most of the teams they face will want a one game playoff this year. It was like that last year so it's nothing to new to them. Robstown might be the only team in the Corpus area that will want a series in my opinion but you never know. I know Boerne will do a series and maybe Needville if the Pirates get that far. I'm sure the teams in 31-4a are hoping like hell they're not the runnerup team because they will face Sinton in the 2nd round

In a one and done.... One L is all it takes. I think they know that. LOL Coaches yes. But players could be overconfident because of their results so far this year. Last year don't matter now. This team has not been severely challenged this year.

This team has not been severely challenged this year. I can guarantee Alaniz has talked to the players about overconfidence and how it can affect their play. They'll be ready and have the right mindset when the playoffs start.
