UT comes through and wins 2 elimination games in a row! Texas Notre Dame A&M OU Arkansas Stanford or UConn Ole Miss Auburn or Oregon St Omaha is going to be fun with four very intense fan bases in attendance. The bars and other fan hangouts better dial up some extra security. Arkansas fans an extra booze don’t mix well. Add in some Sooners and oh boy. Lol! Haha pretty accurate accessment.

Yup no doubt it may get a little rowdy. lmao I honestly believe this could be one of the better ones in many, many years. There are many very equal teams and if they play to their abilities each game it will be damn exciting baseball. Just having four teams in the CWS with very loud and engaged fan bases will probably set the ratings on fire. Here's another nugget. Pending the Auburn/OSU game, the possibility exists their will be six teams who are currently SEC or will soon be SEC in Omaha. if Tennessee would have not grown cocky, that would have been 7. Everyone can talk about what kind of football conference this is going to be in a couple of years as I think everything will fall into place in 2024 vs 2025. But baseball is going to be even more of slobberknocker. Only hope the SEC will rotate the baseball tourney west once in awhile. Maybe Round Rock, Frisco or even Corpus would be good fits comparing it to Hoover who now host it. Agreed. The geographical location of most of these teams is a big factor along with some of the West coast programs. They can play damn near year around.

Although the California schools have been kind quiet lately. You’d always have Stanford and UCLA in the mix. But also some of the smaller schools like Cal State Fullerton, Pepperdine, and Cal Santa Barbara along with a few others who would make runs here and there. Same for the Arizona schools. The Big 10 schools and NE schools have always been at a disadvantage. I do recall back in the day when Pan American was an Indy and had a solid baseball program, they would host almost like two months worth of tourneys for which the Michigans, Norte Dames, Ohio States and others would spend multiple weeks down there in warm weather and they were better for it. It also helped Pan Am build up their resume and it actually got them some invites to NCAA regionals. When the NCAA stopped allowing it, the UTPA program started hitting some bad times , but they are kind of back on the up now.

Stanford moves on.
That stadium has more foul territory than the Oakland A's stadium. Acres of foul ground there.

Blah of course they give rudy vs sips the late Friday game. I hope UT run rules em! lmao Another good ball game last night and glad to see Auburn in. Much rather have a team from the south in than a team from the west. Auburn was out hit in that game and still found a way to win it. Hat's off to the War Eagles

There is so much parity in this field of eight it's ridiculous. If there is one team that might continue to surprise, it's Norte Dame followed by Auburn and Ole Miss.

Having grown up in DFW I can attest to what OU fans can be like having caught their act live when they show up to play UT. Then there is the soooeee pig Arkies rolling into their game at TCU. They didn't come there to get drunk they roll in drunk. Trust me we used to volunteer to park cars in high school at TCU to get in free and they show up wearing those plastic pig hats stinking.

OK I'll bite
So A&M is picked as the least likely to win it of the 8 teams yet are the 2nd highest ranked team left behind Stanford???
I honestly think if there is a favorite to win it this year it is Stanford. I mean ND is certainly very good but I look for a big slip after them taking out Tenn!

This year field is very hard to call. Nobody snuck in and they are all peaking at the right time.
A&Ms key is there bullpen and timely hitting.

Almost wish I had a couple of extra benjis to put on A&M with those odds. But I got to use what extra for gas and brisket for my pit! Not sure Stanford should get so much love since they escaped Texas State and didn’t necessarily dominate and sweep UConn. None the less there is not one for sure favorite in this field.

A&M is probably the best bet with the odds given but I wouldn't bet a plug nickel honestly because it is baseball and damn near anything can happen. lmao I agree somewhat on Stanford with what you are saying but I take nothing away from that TX St series because the Bobcats were LEGIT! Of the games I watched.....& it honestly pains me to say this, but blOwU looked really, really good the two times I watched them. They are a dangerous team if they keep playing like that.
