The video of the meeting is on the school's website but I did watch the entirely. They chose Jacob and Weaver to do the construction of the project. They're currently doing the baseball and softball fields at Gregory Portland. The stadium should be built and ready by May 2026. Now there was one company named brodus construction that was trying to get the stadium built in 8 months but the cost is too high so they went with Jacob and Weaver and after hearing those guys and their presentation I feel the school district made a good decision.

I had heard May 2025 and I figured maybe we heard wrong and they meant 2026. So, the architect company and builders are 2 different companies involved? PBK still the designers of the stadium? I don't know how this all works. And if the builders came up with a date I'm guessing the plans for the stadium have to already be final and shared with the builders. Are the stadium plans going to be shared anytime soon?

That part I don't know but I do know if I'm taking pbk is also in charge of that job in Portland and that's where Jacob and Weaver have had experience working with them. Pbk's architectural firming Jacob and Weaver is a construction company. Now of course Jacob and Weaver is going to be the one hiring all these other subcontractors for all sorts of work that needs to be completed as well but the goal is for it to be completed by May 2026

This is also the same company that completed the stadium and the baseball and softball field for London

Did anyone go to the board meeting? They decided on a builder for the stadium. Also heard the company gave a completion date of May 2025. That seems quick. Can anyone confirm that? Seems a bit too quick if they will not be demolishing the existing stadium/field until after the season this year. Also seems like a strange time to finish any type of school project being that it is the end of the school year basically.

And no, the design may not already 100%. Many projects are awarded from 75% design or less. We bid projects all the time with less than 100% drawings.

I just watched the live quarter of the Alice/King scrimmage on chino's FB page. Alice has the makings of a solid offense once things come together. I didn't see a RB that really stood out but both the kids toting the rock are solid and go hard north and south. QB throws a pretty good ball if his feet are set and his shoulders are square. A couple throws he made where his feet weren't set were not and one deep ball should have been picked and was dropped by the King DB.
Alice's defense looked solid but it was really hard to tell because I felt like King's offense was just not very good at all and the O-line play looked worse than not so good.
The Coyotes have a tough non-district outside of La Joya & Carroll and that should make them a better team when district rolls around whether they are 5-1 or 2-4.

This youtube video popped up today while I was eating my sammich. I know most of you Coyotes have already seen it but thought I'd post it. This is truly good stuff.
I believe it was 87/88 part of the video that the QB looked to have a heck of a strong arm!
At the 7:00 mark I believe that is the 1996 2nd round PO game against Clemens that the Coyotes won 24-14???

The 7'ish mark highlights are when I was a senior in 91 and that yellow and blue team is Moody not Clemens.
