That’s great for Corpus Christi schools but why would they build an only 5000 seat stadium? That amount of seating would be ok for small schools for football or soccer. That stadium would not even be considered for playoff games.

It's primarily for the minor league soccer club that now uses A&M CC.

It will be a cold day in hell when 5000 show up for a high soccer game down here. That's not a slam against soccer at all, it's just other than football, the only other sport that can get close to that is baseball. They probably don't even break 1000 at the state soccer tourney.

I’m no soccer guy myself but there are some that love round futball.
