That's what I gather too. I live in New Braunfels now, but I'm from Argyle for 20 yrs. I'm still Argyllian....my son was on the very first team and the very first team to play in a SC Title game in his junior season. That was 2005. I moved to Round Rock about 7 yrs ago, then to San Antonio, and now finally settled in New Braunfels. I like it far better than the Metroplex even though Argyle was on the edge. It's just too big for a country boy like me. I lived there for about 25 yrs and enough was enough after my son graduated. Argyle in the Metroplex? That sounds strange to me. I grew up in Haltom City NE Ft. Worth burb in th 60s left in 69 but it's still hard to imagine that amount of expansion.

It's like Katy being apart of GHA. These cities just keep annexing towns.

I knew some folks from Aledo. Every male had to play football for them to play 11 man.

Wimberly vs. Pieper was the 2nd game of the season. Wimberly might be 4A D2, but they are a powerhouse program. They are not a small 2A D1 Refugio. Wimberly would not want to play Pieper rather than Sinton right now.

Is it or is not part of Greater Houston?

Assuming both schools take care of business, I’d like to see a Pieper vs PNG matchup

19 is a good WR for sure. Quick as a cat with good hands and seems to run sharp routes as well. I believe he is only a Jr to! I've no doubt Pieper is here to stay as a very solid program. The question is how long before the move up to 6a?
